Francisco Alvarez is a pretty good hitter, but when it comes to throwing out would be stealers at second or third, he absolutely sucks.

Stop complaining. Alvarez is nowhere near the problem in the Mets lineup offensively or defensively. He's a really solid defensive catcher with a great arm and a strong bat. He throws behind runners and he's aggressive. He's also still young. Last season was only his rookie season.

@@playgreation2472 Every player can do better. Like I said, he's a rookie. He will grow or he won't, but most likely he will. We only have a small sample size. He looked really solid in aspects of his play and may have had shortcomings elsewhere, but he's young. One thing he has showed is his work ethic
