PUT IT IN THE BOOKS!! In the last 87 games, Mets are 56W 31L which I believe is best record in MLB over that span Over last 72 innings (8 games) Mets have not trailed competition!! is that a Mets record? Longest streak in majors! 10 double plays in last 5 games 9th win in a row (most wins since 2018), 14 games over .500 Over last 9 games, bullpen era 0.66, starting era 2.14, team 4.9 runs/game. Team OPS .750, Opposition .550 Nice outing Quintana. You are back! 100th Career Win. First Columbian born pitcher to achieve this feat! 6 2/3 innings, 0 runs, only 5 H Manea, Sevy, Petersen, Quintana....starting 4 looking great!! When Senga comes back...World Series!! Mets are 1 Game ahead of Atlanta, 0.5GB Diamondbacks and 2GB San Diego!

@@jamesbuckley8917 Gotta give a lot of credit to Stearns. I doubt anyone thought Severino and Manaea would be this successful - I certainly didn’t. He’s also made some sneaky good bullpen moves. Reed Garrett? Never heard of him before this season. Ditto Nunez. Picking up Maton for nothing was a stroke of genius. Winker was a great pick up. Without selling out the future, and despite lots of injuries - Senga, Raley, Reid-Foley, Nunez, McNeil, Marte, etc., etc. - this team is a legit contender. I have enormous faith in Stearns regardless of how this season turns out in the end. Imagine where this team might be if just Senga and Raley were healthy all year. I love this team. And In Stearns I Trust.
