I was heading to a restaurant sports bar and missed the top of the first. Wow, we dodged a bullet in that inning. However, the Dodgers got a bomb of a shot against Pete Alonso smashing the ball. If it is his last game in a Met uniform, he sure did put on a show in the playoffs. But I want to see him at least one more time in the world series. Winning it and this team as a champion. The Dodgers in this series are quite deadly with the bats. Frankly I fear them. They just keep hitting. Mets will have to outscore them in game 6. Hopefully Manaea can give the mets 6 decent innings at least. The Mets still have a chance but the paper odds are against them. Possibly 25 % chance ( FanGrafs say 18 % chance ) to take the series with 2 games remaining against a monster of a Dodger team. But then again Mets have risen to the occasion all post season. Sean Manaea needs to be effective and Pitch deep into Game #6. When it comes to Elimination Games everybody is Available but realistically Senga, Megill, Butto and Maton are Rested but Reed, Stanek and Diaz are available on only 1-day of Rest. I Highly Doubt Quintana or Young would be Used and Severino would be Saved as the possible Game #7 Starter.
