what a night I was there on Saturday at citi field and despite the rain delay we still got the w I am 2-5 at mets games since 2019 and 3-5 at MLB games since 2019 and get this by the end of the 7th inning all the padres fans in my section had enough and were gone

Great Victory!! Hopefully, Sugar is "Sweet" enough to continue his Comeback as Closer. I agree with another Poster - he should try to develop another off speed type Pitch to make his other Pitches more Wicked. Frankie A needs to take more lessons from Torrens to throw out runners!! Frankie's bat is more Dangerous, but he and Torrens should splt the catching. Pete may need some time off - he is not himself! That was a Big Time Play by McNeil to save tthe Game!!

I was born in 72 and I have been a Mets fan my entire life so I am as pessimistic as anyone but I think this team could be ok. If they don’t get a wildcard spot, it seems like they will at least be in the running for a while. I mean it doesn’t really take much anymore. They are 6 games under .500 yet they are only 3 games out of the WC spot. At the very least, I’d much rather watch this team than the overpaid dumpster fire of a team from last year.

Diaz needs another pitch to defend himself. A splitter or something that makes his fastball harder to hit. He is pushing himself and overthrowing. I can tell. This can lead to an injury.
