Metspin Ltd - Metal Spinners Thanks for a very interesting video. I have been learning the old art of spinning by hand mainly in mild steel - dont intend to compete with CNC my business is artisan. The machine strokes appear slower to me than I would expect to see for hand spinning in aluminium in lesser thicknesses, I am interested if my observation is correct to know if the slower speeds are due to material and/or thickness. I was also interested to know whether the machine paths were generated from theory or by mimicking the strokes of a hand spinner. I have been watching the video closely to see if there is anything I can learn for hand spinning, I find regular aluminium fairly easy for most shapes up to 12" diameter but mild steel is more challenging for me.

How much would a cone like this cost? If you don't mind me asking.
