ever compared to the "new" vocalist? ;)
@TheKartoffel1012 жыл бұрын
@@altschauerbergerknastsau6250 Vicky isn't nearly as good and wasn't in 2014 she needed 4 years to get Panophobia right. Nothing against her she already is pretty good but Alissa is just that bit better.
@altschauerbergerknastsau62502 жыл бұрын
@@TheKartoffel101 Yeah, i agree, her older shows were really not... great. In fact I was kind of disappointed at first but today I honestly like her better, but who am I to decide that, both are very talented women
@TheKartoffel1012 жыл бұрын
@@altschauerbergerknastsau6250 Yeah because she got older and has more experience and practice. But so does Alissa now. You can't compare 34-year-old Vicky to 25-year-old Alissa. Also, Vicky sometimes sings this high note which doesn't sound pleasant. It's not like she has to sing it but she sometimes chooses to sing like this which I really don't like about her vocal performance.
@Sayuku_P8 ай бұрын
@@TheKartoffel101 But you can compare 35-year-old Vicky to 38 year-old Alissa, and in fact, Vicky's much better now, apart form becoming mainstream, Alissa just isn't as versatile as she was in TA, and her scream has become...eh. And I know it also makes no sense to compare, but 25-year-old Alissa was better than 38-years-old Alissa :)

I like Alissa in Arch Enemy, but they should use her clean vocal
@BjornV19948 жыл бұрын
I think Alissa once mentioned that there was a chance that they would start incooperating her clean vocals in the future, in Post-War Eternal albums. Not sure though... Anyway, although I don't miss the clean vocals (I love War Eternal, one of the best albums of 2014, and the album on which I started to become a fan of Arch Enemy), I wouldn't mind it they did in fact returned, for certain tracks. I don't mind it if a band, experiments a bit, with different styles, as long as they don't forget their original sound. (In this case would this mean, no clean vocals for every track, just for a few...)
