3 years ago i was addicted to pain killers... my life was falling apart rapidly.. my girlfriend of 7 years left me. Because of my addiction i lost my mind my car my job.. the only one who didnt give up on me was my mother. No matter how bad the devil had his hand on my soul.. she truly belived i could fight off the demons.... i was heading towards death fast. God rest her soul she passed away last Christmas... im now 3 years sobor and stronger then ever. I have her ashes in a gold cross necklace that i wear ever day. To remind me of how much she has made me a better person. My mind has been a blur i forget things sometimes and i feel that all i can do is push forward and keep my faith with her and god.. this meditating music has helped keep me at peace. Stay alive strive for better theres alwaysgoing to be a rainy day.

We must tear down our ego and embrace humility. Doing this will eradicate false pride and provide clarity of heart. We also must understand compassion and empathy which, in turn, will help us to truly understand what it means to love. We have to let go of the idea that we are special as an individual so we can understand that all of us are equal. We are all children of God. Basically, we have to destroy what we have become through ignorance before we can truly find wisdom. Another phrase of Rumi's is "Become nothing, And He'll turn you into everything". Becoming nothing is not easy...the journey can be very difficult at times, but the further you travel, the easier it becomes and the destination is worth whatever must be endured. One of Rumi's quotes that I'm very fond of is "When you lose all sense of self, the bonds of a thousand chains will vanish". Namaste.

I have to share this little story: I have two cats and two days ago I took in a feral cat who's been dropping by for some food every evening during the past weeks. It took me a while to get him into my house, so I could close the door behind him. He is extremely shy and frightend, but tomorrow he'll have to see the vet, get his vaccines and get neutered and then I'll let him out again. He'll be free to go, but if he stays, I'll be more than happy. Now, the point is: my two cats have been rather stressed out by this strange, wild being and especially Soffi is NOT AMUSED. About an hour ago, I put on this music and guess what!? All three of them are totally relaxed, the new guy has started to play for the first time and Soffi has come within half a meter of him without hissing and scaring the living hell out of him. The magic works on cats, too. :)

The volutes of smoke rise and intersect forming more or less distinct drawings, I am fascinated as by the eyes of a waving cobra while I sit there, sitting with my legs crossed, numb and ... @@katrinaedwards7002 No I don't. I'll tell you why, it's because it is the Sun that gives life. Very little, if anything grows by the moon. I have heard some people say that the moon emits its own light, but I don't see how that can be. To me if that were so, then the moon would shine like a full circle every night. To me, the light of the moon is a reflection of the light of the Sun. Not that I have anything against the moon, it's just for me the Sun is the true light, that gives life and that is why I send thanks and love back and I was awe struck when I found the Sun actually sends stronger rays when I do this, which is more evidence to me that it is the light of God that shines through the Sun. I am not a huge fan of the black books of organized religion, but I do think the truth is in them, just written in such a way as to hide the true truth from us, whilst at the same time pitting all religions against each other. In other words, I think the men who wrote them are power hungry and have used them for their own gain. However when true bits are found they are like gold, like James 1:17 17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, come down from the father of the heavenly lights. Jesus said I 'I am the light of the world..' We are all Gods children, but Jesus is his son, or should that be Sun? Or is it both? So yeah, that's how I feel anyway. Light and love to you🎵🌞💖

I have sickle cell disease which is beyond painful. It's been close to a month now. I meditate 3x a day, I journal a lot, & am super grateful to be back in school because in March 2k17 I was found unresponsive and remained in a coma for 5 days which was a huge wake up call for me & is the primary reason want to work on my relationship with Christ... For 2 weeks straight people have been attacking me verbally and trying to make me feel worthless which I don't understand where it's coming from. I'm always going to believe in myself no matter what. Maybe they see some type of light in me??? I've also been seeing certain angel numbers on certain days. Yesterday I saw 11:11 2:22 3:33 5:55 Any insight on that?? As far as the sickle cell goes weather changes and stress are 2 of my triggers. It's like it makes me angry that I'm in excruciating pain on a daily basis BUT STILL in school for medical billing and coding at Penn Foster, AND trying to be positive and look at things with a glass half full instead of half empty mentality. Basically I'm doing all I can to pull myself out and its like people keep kicking me right back down... arguing with me over things I have zero to do with, blaming me for their life issues. Looking at me with pure hate in their face, and it seems they rejoice when I'm in pain or down or when I don't get to meet a certain class assignment or exam deadline because of my pain. BASICALLY WHEN THINGS DON'T GO RIGHT OR THE WAY I PLANNED THEY GET HAPPY. Let's just put this all together. I'm being spiritually attacked. Being an empath doesn't help because I can look at a person and see darkness & hatred within them. Yall think they can see the light/change/positivity within me and are trying to keep me from getting on / remaining on the right path??? I hope this isnt confusing because I did my best to try and explain how I feel. I just want peace. How do I attain that? Kiara, I'm so sorry for your pain. It pains me to feel your suffering and your sense of entrapment. I have a couple of suggestions, but they can be difficult to accomplish. 1) Stop talking about and telling your pain story. The pain and all the emotions you're having around it build momentum the more you attend to them. That means the pain ACTUALLY gets worse. 2) try to stay present in THIS MOMENT. You may find that there are moments when you are not feeling pain. Ahhh, what a discovery. 3) Then you can tell THAT story over and over again (to yourself), building momentum for less pain, and your pain can ACTUALLY lessen. I know you're inadvertently making the pain worse by focusing on it. If you can interject some positive feelings and thoughts into your experience, you can get some relief. I KNOW how hard that is in the face of all-consuming pain. I know it sounds impossible to you in the midst of excruciating pain. Yet it can become your daily spiritual practice, starting small and patiently: maybe starting each day with a 5 minute focus on something that makes you feel good, etc. (Cuddling a pet, watching funny videos, whatever can sooth or cheer you up). Build up to more time, and many times throughout your day. I hope you can change this trial into your saving grace. I wish you the very best always.

You just keep that head, crown, and prayers up high to the sky and keep on moving like you don't see a thing. You got this, I believe in you. You'll make it to your peace
