Glad to see it. I wonder if they could put some these some these on their other channels. I would love to see a cartoon block of Superfriends on their Heroes & Icons channel. They could include this and other sci-fi/superhero/action-themed cartoons that they already have access to . They would be great for those of us that don't get MeTV toons and they can get more out their investment.

Everyone laughed at me for keeping my old black square antenna. Coming in clutch now! Being in AZ, a lot of the ones I'd like to watch are on very early(ghostbusters, beetlejuice, captain planet mainly) but the many I can watch were a staple of my upbringing(Bullwinkle, looney tunes, underdog, jetsons flintstones etc) thanks for the video updates!

Ha ha, yeah, every cartoon has different prices, so I imagined the Spielberg ones are a lot. Freakazoid probably gets by cause it's shorter and more of a cult show. But yeah, he shared a lot more behind the scenes than I was expecting, and was totally fine with me sharing that info with you. I was literally fascinated learning what it takes to run a classic TV station.

Great content! Glad to hear there’s a long term plan. There’s now almost 100 years worth of animation content to air. There are pros and cons for running original production cartoons, but I’d just as soon see the Toon channel do for classic cartoons what Catchy does for comedy, and H&I does for action shows. If it’s just 20th century cartoons for now that’s fine by me. Been enjoying the network, though. I’ve seen some shorts that I’d either never seen before, or not in almost 40 years.

The thumbnail for this video made me really curious so I truly had to see it. Your videos are always fantastic and I truly do need to make more time for them myself but I must confess that my life is very busy right now so I have missed a few of them but always glad to come back when I have time. Oh man Metv is doing so great and I simply can’t wait to look it up in the fall. My Summer schedule is way over booked so I’m putting it off until the fall but it’s definitely a Chanel that I want to see. Also it’s just a true treat to know that the guy from the channel is so friendly and upbeat and he loves cartoons so much and he even would like to have Disney and he values those older cartoons from Disney for what they are and not what they are associated with. Truly a fantastic announcement and it’s really nice to hear about what they are doing for Bugs Bunny and Scooby-doo who truly deserve as much love as possible and even more so!

I*'m intrigued and delighted that so much of the early H-B library is going to be restored for the channel. Has Neal said anything if WB is going to restore their theatrical shorts? The MeTV copies of some of the Popeye and MGM shorts could really benefit from new updated scans.

We need a Made in Japan block for Speed Racer , Marine Boy (currently airing ) , Captain Harlock & the Queen of A Thousand Years , ROBOTECH (or just MACROSS) to show positive appreciation for Asian media & plus-MeTV Toons can create this block for possible anime-related lost media . And more Kids WB stuff . We also need blocks like Kids WB Saturday for Kids WB-related cartoons & put the E/I cartoons on weekday mornings . Since we have Police Academy & the Real Ghostbusters , I would like to see the classic Rainbow Brite show up something & be a surprise like the 1987 TMNT cartoon . Anybody agree ?

It's kinda cool that MeTV Toons was able to some obscure toons on their line up. 'Challenge Of The Gobots' was one of the few Hanna-Barbera cartoons that NEVER aired on Cartoon Network. One obscure cartoon I'd like to see would be 'Bionic Six' An underrated show from the 80's that's NEVER gotten A home video release.
