So my poor adjustments gave me the negative perspective about cues with a lot of deflection in the shaft. My first year of playing I didn't like Joss or Meucci cues because of their shaft deflection (flexing), especially on their thinner 11mm shafts. Once I learned to divide the object ball properly and saw the importance of keeping the cue parallel to the line of aim, deflection became less of an issue.

I wasn't a where of the pivot....effect nor it changing depending on bridge distance to cue ball

The only true and accurate test for deflection is to use a machine so that EVERTHING can be set up consistantly.
