I actually perfer "Don't wake me up" over the Japanese song in the original. ^^; Pretty much proves that I don't dislike Mew Mew Power THAT much.

I liked the Japanese, Italian (Deborah Magnaghi was a great Ichigo), Hungarian, French, and Mandarin dubs the best. I also like "Don't Wake Me Up" better than the Japanese song used at that scene. It gave the perfect amount of emotion.

At least the French dub finished the series(and fixed a lot of 4Kids' plot holes) and the Danish and Hebrew dubs kept the Japanese names.

@ShyanVixen When 4Kids first got the rights to the show, it was only the first 26 episodes. They didn't air 24-26 in the US just in case they were able to get the rights to the last half of the series (so there wouldn't be a huge gap between new episode airings). Unfortunately, the people in charge of 4Kids basically said that there was no profit being made from the show. No profit = no dubbing. So they decided to not get the 2nd half and let the license expire completely.

They did the first 26 from MMP and then a different dubbing company dubbed 26-52 from TMM, to sort of let the story have a conclusion and by doing 26 over again, they sort of took away some confusion(like changing the names back to the originals for the most part). I'm not sure if they'll redub 1-25 though.

That's how they dubbed it. They had the English audio and they have VAs speak a translation over it.

My favourite TMM dub is the Chinese Cantonese for the final weapon and for MMP, it's Bulgarian. I know some people find it weird they voiced over the original English and that you can hear it, but I like it. The voice acting is great and when you know what's being said in Bulgarian, like in this video, you can compare. English: Blue Aqua Drops, Bulgarian: Blue Water Drops.

Avicied here. tsk tsk tsk...as always the original Japanese is unrivalled. And, as always, the asian dubbers from other countries seemed to actually know what they were doing. But I really have to say, after seeing the Mew Mew 4Shames bit of it, I couldn't stand to finish the video. Sorry, but they just sucked that badly. I see now that 4Shames isn't the only horrible dubbing company there is. I mean, I knew there were others, but there are some real suckers in other countries as well.
