I'm mainly happy that they took the chance to nerf Mewtwo at all provided that this patch was mainly just to fix Deci. I know it doesn't seem like enough (cause it isn't) but just remember that one patch where they literally just didn't touch Zacian. I'm happy that they did anything at all, but they definitely need to do much more for both Mewtwo and the future of releases. TLDR; u right!

Just because of how OP this pokemon is, it's the first time I have sub 50% win rate. It's always a toss up with mewtwo, and games always end up the same, i.e, Stomp a lane, 4 to 5 man death ball over all objectives and stealing jungle. It's so hard to play against. Solo queue teammates also don't know how to work together, and don't play around the CD of Mega evolution.

1) He needs shorter range on both psystrike and future sight. 2) Somebody in the comments got the idea to make it so that only mega evolved Mewtwo has unstoppable on psystrike. You can do it with other abilities too: future sight don't stun in normal form only in mega, teleport has buffs to speed and damage only in mega, etc.

Future sight has so many ways it could be nerfed. Multiple of which it should at the same time: Shouldn't be sure hit It shouldn't be immediate with no counter play It should be a projectile that can be body blocked It maybe shouldn't slow them after the pull They take bonus damage from mewtwo AFTER being pulled directly to him, with no counter play, and slowed near him for to easily capitalize on the bonus damage To Top it all off they take extra damage proportional to the bonus damage that the already broken parts of the move enables him to do. They could make it a sure hit, body blockable projectile (like the end of psystrike), that pulls you to him without the slow and without the second damage source and it would STILL be a good move.

Meh, been running full heal for a while now and it allows you to get in a few more autos but it doesn't help a whole lot when you're getting cc locked by their entire team or point and clicked, which is why doll might be even better to be honest

I think they are concerned that mewtwo might become useless. Because I've experienced that the teams with broken mons like Urshifu with a pocket healer, teams with massive stunners like double ice A9 and mamo, mewtwo struggles very very hard, it's almost unplayable because you just can't do anything. I love mewtwo, it's fine as is because if these stunner and pocket healers are broken af that even mewtwo seems useless than they deserve a character like mewtwo that frightens their a** off. In conclusion, if they nerf it more, mewtwo isn't so bulky as is complete useless against stunners and struggles against pocket healers with Urshifu and buzzhole. Buzzhole literally just keep kicking and throwing me. So, as said if mewtwo is nerfed and teams without any stun or pocket healer all rounder also takes it out, then it's useless. If mewtwo if broken so is Urshifu, so are pocket healers, and very much so is A9.

Yeah, I'm convinced folks haven't played against or with Mewtwo long enough with enough variety on their teams vs the opponent's teams. I beat one today with Goodra, and when I didn't beat him, I stayed alive long enough for the team to rush towards me and hate kill him. I had similar experiences fighting against Goodra, but was good enough to just barely get the kills. Buzzwole is almost unbeatable if the player chooses that life steal move. Trevanent can stay alive for a pretty long time and on one occasion I beat a Mewtwo using Trevanent. Mamoswine also presented problems for me. Then I've beaten many Mewtwos with both Pikachu and Ninetails, and Decidieye with its knock back move trashed me once (although I think I just mis-timed the order of my moves cause I didn't know how to play against its knock back move). When you add the healers and the plethora of cc and such, Mewtwo quickly becomes tough to win with. You have to pick your spots really really well or you'll get jumped into oblivion. I think the rage against him is just a case of folks not knowing how to play against him + not knowing how to play against premades. So when you have to play against a premade that uses him, the issues they experience by making bad decisions against solo Mewtwos just become exaggerated.

Zacian is very bulkier, atleast more than mewtwo + it has stun moves which for some reason can be used again for some aeos energy and a player can keep resetting moves, that's not the case with mewtwo. Just today Me and Crisheros were in same team, we defeated a mewtwo with blissey. I feel that mewtwo will become absolutely useless if it's nerfed any more (given that teleport is already nerfed which the normally highly picked by players), and future sight just pulls you in, goodra can also do that mewtwo isn't the only one. Pystrike is not broken since it doesn't even fills up the gauge. But people aren't realizing it, they just keep picking up useless teams with all attackers, or team without defenders or stunner, and then complain that mewtwo is broken and they are having terrible time. (Also possible if one pick those mons but aren't able to play it well).

For me, A9 and Buzz haven’t been a problem at all, u play around your Mega, once u hit that mega, nothing can keep up with u. Maybe because you’re running a full damage build but for me, even against those characters, Mewtwo still feel super oppressive. Especially in a Solo environment where you’re not going to get Mamo, A9, or Buzz every game

You sound like a good player and I completely agree with you. Comfey ninetails and certains spells i.e firespin seem really busted at times. Mewtwo is the quick solution to these broken plays. Tbh its not even that difficult to defeats. They should really work on nerfing comfey that mon is causing pure imbalance by actually overpowering s tier characters.

It's just skills pros, my first mewtwo match in master (with similar build, but more hp little less crit) was like "They saw me, they perma-stun me, they k.o. me". And my team was separated in different areas doing, whatever XD. Spragles can do penta with pay2win Charizard. Mewtwo before was like "Oh buttons!": the enemy teams got destroyed, at least now you need to know what buttons do. Zacian was broken like "1v5? Sounds easy to me"

Honestly its still good i used it a couple times today i did some decent 90k-100K damage but i just did 154K+ with decidueye but Decidueye is Easier to spam and smoother to use overall psystrike and teleport mewtwo is still pretty good its not the worst in the world

What if they just made it to where legendaries were still going to be OP but you could only have one on your team. So whoever was playing the legendary Pokemon becomes the raid boss and the rest of their team is just kind of a Supporting Cast. Blame the mewtwo if you lose!

Mewtwo needs a mega nerf. Where its harder to mega with him, you arent mega for as long and there is maybe a 10 to 20 sec cool down before you can start refilling your mega gage again
