The same kind of thing happened to me few months back.I live in Canada so I play bgmi with 180 ping using VPN so what I did was continued my training in training ground but the amount of choke that was happening was too much. Since I play in high ping my peek gets stuck I get shot with desync my damage doesn't register then I realized for 3 years I have been playing this game I started for fun then got into competitive but then moved to Canada so why get my self frustrated. So after 3 years of keeping my aim assist of and practicing I switched it on and such a minor change showed a good amount of improvement for me.
