Nice songs. I'm half Mayan half New Mexican...I just sing straight songs, intertribal, a few with dine and Shoshoni words. My parents both speak Spanish. But in your own family circle, I believe it is appropriate for you..one of my Dine brothers who left us too soon, told me to sing a few words in Spanish if I wanted to...I decided to just keep the words Native...its about the way of life that is important. As far as lifting the staff, your not in a meeting. Thanks, you touched my heart.

Dene Sulinés and Dinés are the same people, we were separated during the war times.. Although we have more than one dialect, we are one people.. West to East is nothing compared to North and South when it comes to distance.. And I don't want to get into too much details about our past, since our ancestors had too endure so much with the disputes of others..

thank you for posting this beautiful song to the elements and people ! Also I thank you very much for posting the words and their translations ! We would ask your permission to learn this song and to sing it for the people here in Colorado. My partner and I are doing our best to learn songs to teach our community here and our children! So with your permission would it be ok to sing this song to the public and to our community?

@hostilevibe321 ...lol, come one man...it's alright if you don't like his song (i personally don't like this style of singing...it sounds nothing like the true NAC songs from Oklahoma..old Comanche, Cheyenne, Kiowa style)...but come on man, have some respect...medicine teaches us to respect each other...even if you don't like it, these are still someone's prayers, gotta respect and understand people pray in different ways

@schee505 History, not the Native of Americas had peyote reliogn. Long before we have acquired the practice Meso-american natives solidified their base on peyote & corn (maise). Then us: loin-clothe running ppl have mastered alot through Spanish settlement. Horses, cows, & our beloved sheep. Silversmithing, rug-weaving, & language. Now: barely education.
