This is my first time watching this video. I had not viewed it before. I just turned 50 years old two weeks ago. I lived and worked in Mexico City in my late 20's for two years. They were some of the best years and most cherished moments of my life. I lived there before easy digital photography. I have quite a few "photos" but not as many of all of my favorite things as I would like. I have not been back since. Thank you for making this video and capturing the extraordinary uniqueness and beauty of Mexico City. The colors, architecture, sounds, tastes, art, people...everything about that place is magical. It is truly one of the most underrated cities in the world. I remember when we visited Xochimilco with friends several times. I am glad you included the trajineras and the magic of the canals. It really transported me back in time. My husband and I have been together for 21 years and married now for 11 years. We met just after I returned from Mexico City and I have wanted to take him to visit ever since but for some reason, it has never happened. We live in Pittsburgh now (via Denver). Please stop shaming Mark for “exploiting Ethan for clickbait.” Breaking up with someone they’ve known on that intimate for years really takes a toll on one’s mental health. Mark is doing his best to process the break up and move on. The best thing you can do for both Mark and Ethan is to give them all the love and support they needs to help get them through this difficult transition in their lives. I’m sure Mark will survive if you keep all the negative comments to yourself.

Mark is clearly still inlove with ethan. He is trying to win him back. Everyone is trying to normalize that they are hanging out. But honestly ive been through this and so many have. Its the one that does the breaking up that wins in these situations because they already had a chance before hand to deal with knowing they were going to end things. Mark i hope you take time on your own. I dont think its bad to be friends with ethan but not now. Right now its important you do some healing and do things without him. Youre not allowing yourself to move on. I sense a big heart break coming your way if he doesnt begin to reciprocate the way you feel.

I cannot agree with you more. I see these videos, and I just think "unhealthy." I am not saying that you cannot be friends with your ex, but it is usually not (and this comes from how he posts videos, so grain of salt) something that happens the next day. There lives have been so intertwined for so long and this constant interaction is not allowing them to gain autonomy from each other. And just to further echo you and the normalization... at this stage, they are not friends just hanging out... they are (former) partners who do not know how to be friends with each other yet. So every time the are with each other, for the sake of a video no less, it just creates an unsettled tension. I sense the big heart break you do as well.

Mark has SO moved on. I'm sure Ethan has too. They stated clearly in the break up video that things weren't good for a long time but they continue to appear together for the business. Remember, it's a co-dependent relationship with Mark as the caretaker/people pleaser so of course that is a hard dynamic to break on every level but I think Mark has been kicking it with someone new for awhile.
