Mexico: Journey to Puerto Penasco

Join us as we take our first journey to Puerto Penasco, Mexico. With all the media and political hype about the border crossings and situations with illegal immigrations, we hesitated to make this trip this year. But after lots of investigation, talking to locals and people who have been down we decided it was safe and time to go. We traveled with friends and had the most amazing trip ever. I felt completely safe and would travel this road again many times I hope. It was a beautiful city with beautiful people! The atmosphere is calm and happy. Good vibes all the way! We had zero problems of any kind. The food is fantastic, and the ocean is beautiful with and abundance of sea life. Whales, dolphins, sea turtles and many other types of creatures call these waters home! I’m trying desperately to get back up to speed with my Spanish so I can enjoy all that the Mexican culture has to offer. Thanks for watching! Safe journeys! 🚐🤙🏼🩷🇲🇽

Living in San Diego California all my life drove into Baja may be 1000 times or more never had to get any type of Insurance also those 1000 times or more never had to show a passport it wasn't till 9/11 that they required people to show proof of citizenship .Even after 9/11 I went to Mexico several more times and was never asked to show a passport .I just showed my California Drivers license .I don't know how it is now because I stopped going to Mexico for 2 reasons Number 1 I broke up with my girlfriend who lives in Baja and number 2 the lines at the border were crazy about 4 hours just to cross back into the US sometimes longer .
