Join us on an unforgettable journey through the enchanting canals of Xochimilco in Mexico City! In this video, we share our incredible experience of meeting a warm and welcoming local family who turned our private boat tour into a shared adventure.
We embarked on the two-hour Laguna de Tlilac tour, and what awaited us was beyond our expectations. Our boat (locally they are known as "trajineras") transformed into a lively party-like atmosphere as we bonded with our new friends and soaked in the vibrant culture of Xochimilco. This was such a fun and safe experience here in Mexico City!
Watch as we tried some Mexican beer and waterside-made quesadillas while floating along the picturesque canals that were built by the Aztecs. Along the way, we learned fascinating insights about pre-Hispanic Mexican culture from our gracious hosts.
This Xochimilco excursion was not just about exploring the stunning natural beauty of the area but also about connecting with the heartwarming spirit of the locals. Join us in reliving this unforgettable adventure and be inspired to create your own memorable moments in Xochimilco! Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more travel adventures! 🇲🇽🚣‍♂️🌮 #xochimilco #mexico #travel #travelvlog #cdmx

Xochimilco is the last remnants of a vast water transport system built by the Aztecs. Make sure you visit this amazing place next time you are in Mexico City! 🛶🇲🇽
