My home state. Thank you guys, not a lot of you tubers go there, in my opinion is highly underrated. It is the place where the independence movement was born, the Purépecha people were never conquer by the Aztecs and in a way they were also were never completely conquer by the Spaniards (until the religion kind of did the trick, but there are a lot of places where Purépecha is spoken by everyone and they still have a lot of their traditions). The most famous place for day of the death in the country is in Michoacán. And also, the whole Mexican food been a cultural heritage of humanity it really is the food from Michoacan that got the recognition (not everyone knows this).

You need to go to Pátzcuaro and try the nieve de pasta. Also go to Tzintzuntzan, they have an archeological zone and lots of pottery. And Santa Clara del Cobre to see the copper crafts.

Another good video I really like this place you visited today. The volcano area was crazy really would not have known that there was any kind of village there that’s amazing. I love how you and your wife always give us some kind of background

Hello! Thanks for the video. At about 2:24, you reference the name of an "egg nog" like beverage that is popular in Morelia but I can't make it out. Will you please share the name of this drink? Husband and I may visit Morelia and pick up a bottle while there. Thanks.

Sure it's a nice place. But depends on your parents. It had a younger vibe to it. I would recommend Merida for older people.

When you come from a country where daily mass shootings take place, but talk about the violence in the country you're visiting! "Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?" Matthew 7:3

Not sure what you're trying to say here. But im already aware USA is not completely safe. im shedding light on this area of Mexico that has a bad reputation, letting people know that it's not as dangerous as people make it seem. If you are interested i have another video thay talks about how safe Mexico is :) Thanks for watching :)

@@KrispTravels You make great videos, I should point out. My point, we should not let politicians (orHollywood propaganda)dictate where we go. The US State Department releases a list of “unsafe” travel places. Michoacán is listed (but not Colorado), jk.

@@AHPSC thank you! But yes for sure!! People sre super afraid of the rest of the world because what they ssee oon TV. I was Born in NYC and its super dangerous yet so many tourist a year and no travel warnings. I understand your point. I apologize!

@@KrispTravels But Morelia is dangerous, I go every year. Recently 16 teenagers were gun down. The cartel is trying to take over , heavy military. There's no heavy military in Colorado. So it's not all you see on TV. Also AT the boarders Cartel hold people for Ransome, we used to drive 38 hours there. But it's very unsafe now Even in Laredo we were robbed by a police officer one year It's way more dangerous than the US. JUST SAYIN'
