Seeing you both discovering the world at large is such a relief. Simply KNOWING, there is still a normal world out there. Here, as of today, our terraces are allowed open again from 12 noon till 6pm. Just enjoy, and stay safe. I did have to laugh at the work out. You Liz, calm and serene and Dennis flat out fast and furious. I've seen dolphins in New Zealand and turtles on Zakynthos Island in Greece so understand your excitement seeing those beautiful whales. So beautiful and special. Take care. 👍 🎥 🙏 🌷 🙋‍♀️

I spent 3-4 days in Huatulco back in late 2003. It was surreal. A fully developed resort town with better roads and infrastructure than anywhere you would have travelled from........but no people! The geography is stunning.....i motorcycled to many, totally empty, miles long beaches. A truly incredible place which I gather was developed to become the Pacific coast alternative to Acapulco. Good to see it's now thriving.

I'm from there and i will tell you a little bit of the story and why Huatulco is underrated and not globally known as Cancún. Huatulco along with Cancún was one of the 5 spots from Mexico discovered and intented to be a CIP which means Integrally Planned Center and that Mexico's government build as they saw the potential that Mexico had for international tourism at the time (Acapulco and Vallarta had blossom by that time) with Cancún we can say definitely the mission was acomplished: a world class tourist destination but Huatulco didn't boomed the way it was meant to be and that is due to several factors: aerial connectivity is an issue, you can get a direct flight to Cancún almos from any wehere in the world but not the same to Oaxaca's coast and by road you have to go through hard roads so that also makes it kinda tirying and time consuming but on the other hand you get a more quiet atmosphere and sustainable thing as Huatulco is certified as green globe destination so you can be sure that you are swimming in one of the cleanest waters of the world 😊

I vouch for this place! I had my wedding there and everyone had such a great time. Their economy is almost entirely based on tourism, so they don’t try to rip you off. I even had a misunderstanding with a vendor and another vendor had my back and hashed it out for me. They are extremely respectful and friendly people.

So exactly what was the name of the beach. It looks like Hualtuco is a bit inland from the coast. Thanks !

Thanks for this vicarious visit to this beautiful area. I see you are getting aclimatized by drinking the local fav - Victoria (aka "Beekies"). We visit the Oaxaca Coast every winter. It is strange to see how dry it is at this time of year. I think that the rainy season and the big swells will come soon. Enjoy!

Not a disappointment Someday I hope to make it to that area.. HUX is the airport code, hopefully they keep flying in ... Looks like you had quite a bit of WIND and bumpy roads. Very Beautiful work as always!

Is it safe to take your RV through Mexico? I’d love to do it. Is there plenty of diesel?

The name of the place where you stayed is San Agustín bay, one of the 9 bays of Huatulco, here you will also find 36 beaches, most of them secluded with pristine water as we could appreciate on the video. I am very lucky to have beee born here. There is an international airport with direct flights from Mexico city, Dallas, and 3 canadian cities. Great video by the way. Saludos.
