Mexico to Kerry - Inside the Irish wing of the Sinaloa Cartel

Secret files relating to the operations of a County Kerry wing of the notorious Sinaloa Cartel show how they shipped 6 tonnes of cocaine into Europe over the course of one year.
Headed by former Kilorglan schoolboy Morris O’Shea Salazar, whose Mexican mother has family ties to Joachim El Chapo Guzman’s sons, the Sinaloa cell was uncovered by both the DEA and later during the Encrochat hack.
Nicola talks with reporter Neill Feiririter whose special investigation into the Kerry Sinaloans was published this week. He talks about coke shipments, corrupted port workers and a slick drug machine run by a man who called Kerry his home.

Somebody from Mexico would probably love Kerry and a small town like Killorglin. The Irish and Mexicans have a lot in common. Mexican women and girls are beautiful looking, they are family oriented, interested in food and music and quite gregarious, plus they share the same religion for the most part.They still hold little festivals in Mexico as people do in Killorglin. A Mexican woman would love that atmosphere. The climate is certainly different and that can be a cultural change, but aside from that these two groups share a lot of the same beliefs and customs.

I sometimes wonder if a lot of these king pins have legitimate businesses and people who work for them don't even know. They don't. In a way it is a take over of the world in one sense with corruption, why would they care, when they can't get caught. I always think there is a lot more going on than we ever hear about. I don't believe the Kinahans are as high up as is being presented, they aren't, there are very connected people behind all them. I am more inclined to believe big Sheikhs and Shahs are running these organizations, probably like the ol guy who owns a thousand acres on the Curragh, the Aga Khan guy,not him specifically but people with connections such as his wealth and power.
