Just by one video I really understood that you are a very elegant and a real soul. I felt your hard work and emotions when you got emotional just looking at your research paper. I thought to myself what a great feeling she must have feeling as a result of all that hard work and labor, and thought I want to be as accomplished as her. I want to do my graduate studies in Japan through MEXT scholarship next year and this video vas very informative and comprehensive for me. I want to start my application process this year, but I have few questions that I would like to ask you. 1- Should I find a professor that I want to work with or should I just email an university to accept me to their graduate program? 2- Should the acceptance letter come from the professor I would like to study with, me as a research assistant/graduate student, or directly from the university he is currently working where I will be a research assistant/graduate student? 2- University preference form is filled according to which university I would like to attend as a graduate student, in the case where I contacted a professor, do I write his university? I don't know if you are going to be able to see this and it's okay if you don't, I just wanted to thank you again for inspiring me!!

Thank you so much for this video! I have five more days until the deadline and I haven't written up my research proposal yet. The last document for me to complete. (You may be wondering why I'm applying so late, my Japanese professor just told me about it two weeks ago, and I've been rushing around getting the application done while doing exams). This proposal is the part I fear the most because I feel as if I'll just rant and say nonsense. But your video makes so much sense to me that I feel I'll be able to get it done. I understand it will help to use references in my research proposal, did you feel the need to use a lot of references or do you feel only using a few references would be fine too? Ps. It's so beautiful to see how passionate you are about the MEXT scholarship and your research field. You seem to be doing so well, and I'm so happy for you.

For those that go as research students, you study Japanese language for 6 Months and then you use the next 6 months to prepare for your entrance exams into a masters program

One of document which mentioned is Abstract Theme 1. Is it necessary for research Students to submit Abstract Theme when you apply for MEXT 2. Replacement form is submitted for once you apply for scholarships or after selected?

You don’t need the recommendation letter to be in the official sample given. It’s just a sample as I said in the video. What’s the difference between normal transcripts and official transcripts?

Did you apply sealed recommendation letters from work and your past professors? My employer and professors are abroad; so I wouldn't be able to get a sealed envelope from them. My time is running out. Would they accept unsealed recommendation letters? I have a sealed transcripts, so i have that atleast, but I don't want to waste the transcript if they won't accept unsealed recommendation letters.
