Hi Sis, i got shortlisted for the written exam, and from your video you mentioned that we dont have to answer Japanese Language exam if we didnt have any basics or knowledge about the language, is that true? Im a candidate for postgraduate student btw.. The written exam will be on 12 Sept 2020. Thank you and great video! Good job 😊

Yes, you do not need to answer the Japanese section if you do not know Japanese. You can always double check the guidelines they sent you. All the best for your exam

@@ayziezaha ok thank you because in the email stated that its compulsory to take both exams regardless your language ability so i was abit confused. Thank you for the reply and thank you for the wish ☺️

@@sorayuki03 yes, during my experience, you will still be given the Japanese test paper bt you only have to write your name and submit.

Around 23 for my batch (2017) and 24 for my husband's batch (2018)

Hello ma'am, this is Razeen Ashraf from Bangladesh. I am selected for Ph.D degree on MEXT scholarship. But I am going to pursue my Ph.D in a little bit different subject from mine Hons. and M.Sc. Is it will be a major problem during my studies and for further future career pathway?

In my opinion, it is not unusual for people to take courses different from their BA or MSc so don't worry! There will probably be a learning curve, bt its part of the process. As for future career, it is too early to say bt I do believe that it will not be solely dependant on your PhD. Also having different degrees can give you more flexibility when applying for positions.
