Idk bout the intonation but the quality of the whole orchestra was awesome. The 16th notes were all together n u all kept together all throughout the piece. Sure sometimes the violins overpowered the others n vice versa but it was an awesome performance

@wgj7gec same haha. my orchestra played legato and slow till that fermata like 3 mesaures after the beginning and then we went this pace.

It is pretty good performance--great accuracy. I do prefer a slower beginning, and tempo gradually getting faster towards the end. 3/4 sections seems too slow. Tip on Conducting: Conduct the hemiolas--makes it fun, and easy for students to follow. Great intonation! Great sound--weaker lower strings...

GREAT performance! I just closed Freshman Year playing this and happy to say we sounded great too. This is somewhat of a challenging piece. I like challenges though. :) I think the beginning was a bit fast. It should be a little slower than the tempo at measure 3, but otherwise it was fairly good tempo wise. BASSES! Where were u at 117?? I love that part but I couldn't hardly hear ya! ;) There were a few spots where the violins needed to back off too. BUT other than that you guys were PERFECT!!!

@Soccer1296 I actually really like the speed we went, but that's just because I'm used to it. If we started out doing it slower, I would like it better that way.

beginning is WAY too fast. that part should be slow. then it gets into to tempo
