I love listening to the Family Trips Podcast but this episode just puts it over the top for me. The Meyers family is so in sync in the most passively aggressive living way.

My favorite episodes are the ones with the Meyers family ❤ so I’m inclined to agree with Larry about how great it is to be passionate about a sports team but also I don’t know if such passion is good for my mental health anymore. I scream-cried my way through the entire Yankees postseason and I think I have some post-traumatic stress after the World Series. Surely this cannot be good for me!

Have you considered a listener episode about family trips surrounding weddings, in honour of Josh being a newlywed? Am I the only one who grew up not so much taking vacations as ‘vacations’ (ie: trips we took because the family had to travel)?

My fave song is the Dylan cover for a listener episode, it’s perfect. I agree with Mom that Vegas is very meh. I went once and that was enough. I also went to Kaua’i, and while it was nice, it didn’t amaze me. I live in CA and I think it’s more beautiful here. I disagree with dad, and while the podcasts are called family trips, I use that title as more of a metaphor, as your life with your family is a “trip”. So I’m more interested in what people’s family’s are like and their dynamics. I’ve never heard of Aya Cash prior, but would love to share a coffee with her and talk about growing up in SF. They don't put Josh's songs on the KZbin version of the pod if that's how you've been watching/listening.

You have to go to apple podcasts, or some other format as KZbin blocks Josh’s songs for copyright issues. I made the same mistake when i first started watching here on yt as some pods did have the songs and others did not. Sometimes I watch it here if there is video feed, and then I go to the apple podcasts and hear the song.
