I normally love her covers, and this song is killer, BUT you can definitely still hear the original drum track in this. It ends up making it sound like the drums are double tracked and throws the ear off.

Yea not as fake as many other drum covers out there. Most play to the song and take out the real audio from their drums. Some even replace with drum samples and are edited to match the sound.

I'm speaking as a drummer myself for 23 years. You have mad talent, my only critique would be to really get into the small details of the drummer you're covering in each video. Mario is a dynamic groove player and he is constantly ghost noting the snare and toms and kicks whereas you're playing it more straight and tight. Watch any Gojira video of him playing and you'll see what I mean, he's a very busy drummer, very fluid, lots of velocity changes between fills. One thing that helped me a ton with my groove was playing along to James Brown records. Maybe even get a click track going while you play, lots of flamming going between the recorded track and your live playing. Love your channel and the guts you have putting yourself out there...subscribed and look forward to more videos. Loved the Dream Theater video. Keep rocking! Destroy, erase, improve 🤘😎🤘

There’s something about Meytal smiling away, adding her feminine touch to my favorite music, in general kicking ass. My undead phone with exposed phone bones, a Facebook account getting slowly digested inside of it, a cracked screen that was more sensitive AFTer it was dropped on the sidewalk - and oh yeah some KZbin subscriptions rotting away in the bowels of the phone that works just fine but just won’t charge... well, meytallll, I RE-subscribed .
