I grew up with grunge music in the 90s, I can responsibly say that it was the last thing that happened in rock music. Kudos to this beauty for playing the drums, I wish her and her family all the best. It's phenomenal when you hear someone know how to bring out the original drumming on a given theme.

What amazes me more than her drumming chops is her ability to learn so many complex arrangements. The music she chooses to cover is not repetitive within itself so how she remembers where it is going attests to her true talent.

The whole idea us to cover it exactly.. And doing so is difficult when covering exceptional drummers... Anybody could take artistic license and make it up as they go along... Half the time, maybe more, the original drummer doesn't even cover themselves accurately .. Like from the recording to a live version for instance

topcatt55 That is not the "whole idea" of a cover. My favorite covers are those that shed a new light on the song. For instance, Tool's cover of No Quarter, nowhere near the original, but definitely holds it own. She doesn't even the same set-up as Carey, so wanting her to cover it exactly is asking a little much.
