hey, so i do use my artwork and i also use canva to create as well. i have an etsy shop and a beauty beach towel currently. I made a comment on your other video tutorial about society six and why you went back which I love by the way I like the way you talk it’s wonderful. I’m actually also a professional couples dance instructor like dancing with the stars so I do appreciate it when people can explain things properly and I can follow along not everyone can anyway I use print full right now and I want so badly to use society six because like you I love that furniture. I love the big stuff. I am an artist a real artist honestly and I have a masterpiece that is a beautiful woman space and I created leggings with it and a beautiful pencil dress and bikinis and bathing suits and all kinds of things and it’s just so fabulous and T-shirts and they’re just wonderful and I can’t wait to do the society six honestly I’m just tapped out. I’m turning 65 in a couple of weeks and wow it’s not much and that’s all I got so I can’t take on another payment, but hopefully I can find something for free or I can get someone’s help that might have something that I could get those larger pixels like you stated I would like a little more information about the three sizes that you do. I’m pretty sure I do understand it. You go maximum big so you can always condense down but the largest may not condense down enough so that’s why you do the other sizes as well anyway it’s wonderful watching your stuff. I’m going to subscribe and continue watching. Thank you so much. You can find my store. It’s artistry by Debbie and my Facebook page. Business page is WettNSticki ( and yes, I know it sounds filthy dirty but it’s not it’s because I’m an artist and everyone knows that when paint is wet it’s sticky so there you go)

Wow. You just made this video. Repper is amazing. I have been using midjourney v 5 to make seamless patterns by using the -tile parameter. I then take the result into photoshop and created an action to replicate the tile across a large canvas. I then get a big enough file to load into Society 6. However repper makes very interesting patterns. This video was my introduction to repper.

I have a question: are the 3 sizes in pixels that you showed on the Repper section of this video the suggested size? Or can I just use one size i.e. 9400 x 9400 and apply the different effects? Many thanks again!
@MeyTribe Жыл бұрын
You can use 9400x9400 only, you don't have to download all of my recommended sizes- but they won't fit all of S6 products, as S6 doesn't have tiling options like RedBubble or Zazzle.

I don’t know what to do first; Logo! Domain? Social media accounts? Right now I have about 5 niches that I narrowed down to and 500 logos to pick from and about 50,000 designs just waiting for a home! What a fun and relaxed way of presenting! Great tips you've got. But... are you satisfied with a 10% commission on each sale? You upload a lot of products, but are you also achieving a reasonable income with this? I'm very selective about what I want to offer. With Society6, I get the impression that it's made very easy. Or am I seeing that wrong? Thanks!

Hey Mey. Question, which one do you think society6 vs Zazzle? I can’t seem to find the right info. I don’t know which one to choose :/ thanks a lot!
@sharonschwalbe2072 Жыл бұрын
Don't bother with S6, they are removing all but 10 designs from artist shops that have been partners with them, some for 12 years. Work is permanently deleted. You have to pay them around $156 per year if you want to upload a large quantity of designs. Plus the seller now is charged or has to cover some of the shipping costs.
@digidesigns7028 Жыл бұрын
Ok question. You say about having various stores on Zazzle and S6, So does Zazzle or S6 pay you as one name or as various names of your stores? Like does Zaz or S6 just pay "You" or do they payout per store name? Thany You. You are an amazing person.
@hltan2882 Жыл бұрын
Society6 is going to start charging artists with subscription plans, on top of the additional shipping fee to be deducted from each sales. Maybe you can talk about other free alternative ?

@gruppe88 ай бұрын
I wouldn't they are only interested in taking subscriptions from artists nothing more, I was on their for 12 years 6000 images they wanted myself to pay a saubscription but would not put my latest images on the site, you can pay $180 a year subscription and your work wont appear on the main site, so they lost my subscription and around 4000 dollars per year profit when i went from 6049 to 10 images when i get paid the account is closed

I use Repper too. I saved it at 12000 x 12000 and when I try to export Repper has me scale down the pattern so I can achieve 300dpi. Is 300dpi critical? Also, the file was about 200mb-too large for Society6. I noticed when you exported from Repper and uploaded to Society6 you had no issues. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. Thanks-Georgiana
@MeyTribe Жыл бұрын
It probably scales you to 300 DPI cause that's the DPI you've set up. if you type in a lower DPI you will have to scale less. Different print providers require different DPi for different products, even within S6- a poster will not have the same DPI as a shower curtain. 300 covers all of the products. The file is downloaded in PNG, I usually convert it to JPG in order to upload it to S6 :)
@georgianam2459 Жыл бұрын
@@MeyTribe is quality an issue as a jpeg being enlarged? I appreciate all your help
@MeyTribe Жыл бұрын
@@georgianam2459 The JPG will not be enlarged unless you open that file and force it to be even bigger than the size downloaded from Repper, which is reduce the DPI. Usually JPG files are used for printing, not PNG due to size. They are both great, but JPG in the right size & DPI are just fine :)

@MeyTribe Жыл бұрын
It even more frustrating - as they did have that feature several years ago when I started with them !! I think that, even with it being annoying.. it ends up being a good thing... Maybe not just that, but also the fact that you cannot upload a smaller file than needed... as random spammers that thrive on RB and TP cannot really design for S6- it's too slow and complex for them, leaving this platform rather "cleaner".

20:50 In the US, Android equals Samsung, I think.. Whoever there has an Android phone instead of an iPhone, has a Samsung, not like Europe, where we have like a million different Android phone brands.. Looks like I'll never be able to design a phone case for my realme phone.. 😆
