Mezco DEADPOOL vs MezKO DEADPOOL a comparison review

I put the knock off Mezco next to the official Deadpool release and compare them both. Is it as good?

I'm buying the KO version too, I don't know, I like to pose my deadpool as extreme as possible but you just can't do that to the original figure (unless you're willing to take the risk)

irsansansan I pose the shit out of mine and the black material has softened up really well and there’s no tears or flaking. I have the grey version too but the black stuff doesn’t seem to break in like red pool. He basically has max articulation with the suit just bending at will.

KO versions are also good for outdoor posing and photography basic fodder for all the rough and tumble you don't want to put on your legit one.

Guess that headsculpt for MezKO if it was too shiny, maybe we can spray top coat flat on it? So the red color will become less shiny and deeper than before.

How do you get the hands off the KO? The pins pull out of the arms but cant get them out of the hands. Seem very tight.

Been a while but I always warm the hands up with a hairdryer to soften them up

I got me a ko Deadpool like the one in the review. To be honest, for the price, there isn't that much difference between the original and the ko. So I'm happy with my purchase. Why pay so much for a figure that clearly could cost much less. They are all made in China.

Maybe buy the real one because the ko is using a license it is not allowed to use, so it is technically illegal.

My wife got me a KO cause she didnt know the that are diff...lol so my Q is i now know the hands arent interchangeable tried that but the head feels like it could be but afraid to do so. At least it wasn't expensive. Not that i mind i have Netflix punisher Netflix daredevil and homecoming spiderman.

The_Moped_Man i use an official headsculpt on my KO. I also use a marcel legends unmasked headscupt too sometimes.

The_Moped_Man yes the head is removable, warm it up with a hairdryer and don’t use too much force. Be patient too as mine was simple to remove but QC is all over the place with these KO’s so can’t speak for all of them.

The_Moped_Man I assume so, can’t fully remember tbh I think some people haven’t warmed the hands up enough to remove them or just bad wrist pegs. I’m sure they can come off it’s just a hairdryer job away.

I have this and I actually broke off a hand trying to change it. They are actually not interchangeable and the extra hands are for show. A pretty big problem if you ask me.

mattzx77 in china there are legal loopholes that mean if they change a certain amount of the figure (remove certain branding etc) they can then sell them. Imitation goods is a larger industry in china than the official stuff. But theres also another third industry where the factories that made the original figure reuse the molds to produce their “own version” to sell. This tends to happen if there were large batches of figures that are damaged or incorrect and they were rejected for final approval. Not all the KO’s are actually KO figures, some are rejects from the final batch. To recoup the losses on the production of the failed batches factories will sell them on. I think as china moves forward and have a more symbiotic relationship with the west this industry will die down.
