Aside from the SH Figuarts, all the Keaton Batman figs have a large head, this is no exception. It looks like it's 10% larger than it should. That's why I like the SHF so much.

I cannot wait for mine! Looks really good! A lotta people seem to be missing the instruction for how to have the cowl set properly with the cape, which is what seems to make the head look big. This going to go beautifully with my Korakij Nicholson Joker

You got lucky on the bicep swivel and yours works fine. Mine wasn't working and I initially thought Mezco just didn't design it to hold the swivel, then the other bicep broke. I would highly suggest to everyone to pose theirs carefully.

@@r.1117 good luck with your copy. I don't think I'm going to pursue a return. I don't want to deal with Mezco, their number is always busy and I feel like it's going to be a bad experience. I'll put it on a basic stance and forget all about this figure. I'll use the 3 extra heads for customs.

Great review. I can't believe we waited three-plus years for this poorly designed and engineered figure. They should never have gone with the seamless body IMHO. When they originally solicited it for preorder, there was no mention of a rubbery seamless body from my recollection. I paid with PayPal, and as such, Mezco has had my coin all this time, and canceling the order wasn’t an option, as I didn’t want to go through the angst of trying to get my money back-such a disappointment. I will probably use the various components with a custom third-party suit and body.

For me personally, this is bad. I'm glad that the third party I preordered this from ended up canceling orders and issuing refunds. What's additionally upsetting is that for three years we basically heard nothing, yet people were out their NRDs, and then this is what we get. Word of caution, in addition to the rubber suit, be careful with the moving eye feature. Hot Toys did a similar parallel eyeball moving system years ago on their original 1989 Batman, and it was notorious for breaking, leaving headsculpts with googly eyes. I would imagine that is one of the reasons they moved to a separate eyeball rolling system. Sorry to all that are disappointed in this release. For the price and amount of time, it's really a shame.

Seriously great review mate. I know a lot of people have been waiting for this in hand breakdown for a long time. I’m somewhat of a newbie to Mezco one:12, but I love what very little I have so far. The predator, alien and Theodore Sodcutter figures are amazing. I think my favourite is the Holiday Gomez. This Keaton Batman looks great too. I know quality control is a questionable subject with Mezco these days (I had to send my Theodore and Alien back for replacements), but when they get it right, they certainly get it right. They are great display pieces. I missed out on the Mezco ‘89 Batman, but decided to take a chance and order the hot toys ‘89 reissue.

Yep, the cape ring needs to be secured then the cowl should sit more flush.

Can’t figure out what that spike is right above the batarangs. Original accessories had 2 grappling guns and 1 closed and we only got one open and one closed. Kinda shitty. Don’t think there was a ninja star. Wtf is that here for? Lol

Overral seems a very nice figure to display, the head is actually big out of scale, but the sculpt and likeness are very well done, great variety of accessories. Having 2 capes, one should be lighter, especially to have the cowl sitting better. And the suit color could be darker. Not 10 out of 10, but very decent version at 1/12th scale.

The heads a tad too big but it’s still a nice figure. I really don’t know who was planning on putting him in Spider-Man poses. Some of these comments are ridiculous. It’s meant to be a statue pretty much. The way the cape sits is horrendous and an absolute let down. I’ll let mine sit in the box until it goes up in price and flip it.

Yea, im thinking that it was delayed because of many issues. They should have made the cape fit better. It sits under the headsculpt so why not make the ring a lil bigger or leave no material that interferes with placement to begin with.

I am so glad I cancelled my order. This figure sounds and looks like such a disappointment. The lack of articulation on a $110 figure is beyond me. I seem to remember the scene in the movie where he fights off a bunch of Joker thugs and moves pretty well so don’t give me the whole “it’s based on the movie and he could t move a lot”. The head does look too big and only looks better with the capes on. But for 3 years in development this should be the crown jewel of Batman figures not a polished turd.

His body was designed like the phicen silicone rubber body’s, that’s why there’s the powdery substance on it. But that will eventually clean out! Also there’s a metal skeleton inside that body like phicen.👍
