Looks great, the fabric suit just brings him to the next level. Also like the three head sculpts, they all kind of have a pulp hero look to them, can imagine someone doing a custom Flash Gordon with one of them.

Man, Flash and Supes really need a redo. Their costumes do not hold up next to the more modern designs/fabrics Mezco are using now.

Well now I guess 1978 Superman is technically a redo on Superman. Now we just need Flash in updated fabric. I was pleased with the updated Special Ops Punisher which made the previous classic version obsolete.

@@danielcraig9666 Not saying it is for all collectors like yourself that's why I said technically. If the old head sculpt could fit on this one with matching flesh tones this one would have improved on all areas of the original Mezco Supes including the suit and cape. It would be a hard sell for me on buying another similar mezco Superman based off the orginal design after having 1978 unless it came with all deco and new accessories like Red Son or Dark Knight Returns.

that would be cool if mezco made another comic book superman and flash with the new materials thay have been using lately. i did manage to get them both befor after thay came out the first time. BUT i'd be more than happy to get the updated ones also. 😀

@@reyking8296 you are very right about that. make no mistake, i do realize and appreciate how fortunate i am to have "any" of the mezco's i have. i totally agree with your earlier comment and would like to see mezco make all the figures you mentioned. Cyborg would be nice. looking forward the same as you. i hope mezco sees the opportunity and revisits making Flash and Superman and others, so that other people can get around those Hefty after market prices.

Man, great review, I'll consider getting Aquaman. I can't get Superman, Flash, Shazam, and Green Arrow from Mezco because they're not around anymore lol. Why does Mezco do that, if you're a late collector, that's it? Oh well I at least got, Hal Jordan, Wonder Woman, and Batman.
