fantastic looking figure and great review. to answer your query about the helmet and the comics . dredd has never removed his helmet in a way that his face could fully be seen (the put a huge censored sticker over it once lol) so it stands to reason the figure wouldn't have a fully removable one. even the ML dredd that Toybiz did ages ago had only a partial face sculpt. the only time you've really seen dredd without the helmet is the Stallone Movie but we won't talk about that lol

hahaha . well I will admit I did like Stallones movie. the sets and props and atmosphere screamed Dredd but the execution of the story was poor.

Awesome figure. Bummer Mezco is so expensive. The only thing I’ve ever picked up from them is the 1:12 Ghostbusters set because I got it on clearance at my local comic shop.

Is 1/12th basically a 6" figure? Not bad I like the bike figure is good, price?

Impossible Pie more or less yes. A 6-foot flat person translates to 6" in 1:12 scale from what I remember.

my only apprehension is the rubber wheels and how long it will take for them to split. I've seen and heard horror stories of figures like Masterpiece Prime with rubber wheels that crack and split from age. Other wise, this looks gorgeous

these are a really cool line but that cost, that cost is crazy so I am forced to cherry pick this line, I already preordered the flash and I really want the punisher so those will be the ones I pick up now, but I really wish I could pick this one up.

Just to give more info on this particular version, it is based on the Cursed Earth Story in which Dredd leaves MegaCity and travels across the Cursed Earth, in the comics he wears that poncho that's why it was included. Also I have the regular release version of this figure and it has a bit of differences, mainly the colors of his suit (being black instead of metalic blue), helmet and pads, but his lawgiver is also a different version, he doesnt come with the rifle and for what i've seen in pictures and reviews he also features a slightly different headsculpt (if not the whole head just the helmet) In the comics he never takes of the helmet (its kind of a character trait), in the Dredd (2012) film he doesn´'t either, but in the original Judge Dredd (1995) Film with Stalone he takes of the helmet a lot (this mainly because Stalone didnt want to be in a film where he had to wear a helmet all the time and people wouldnt be able to see his face) PS: I think I remember when I got mine in the instructions it said you should avoid pulling on the chain to open the zipper to prevent from breaking, instead grab the actual zipper and just pull it up and down with your fingers, hope that helps.

A fantastic set, but, damn 259.00. A bit to much for me. I can't even imagine how much the BVsS batmobile is going to be.

+ODC DATSME If you don't need to have the Metalic Blue colored Lawmaster Bike, its cheaper to buy the figure (either the previews version or the regular version, whichever you like more) and the regular version Lawmaster bike separately. The only way to get the Metalic Blue colored Lawmaster so far is if you get the Boxset, but the regular version of the Lawmaster is suposed to be exactly the same, only its painted black.
