Just picked this guy up at my local comic store and I'm over the moon about it. I have 2 others (the figma being one) and they don't quite nail it like the Mezco one. Great review bro!

That’s a nice touch with the second Pyramid Head being from the movie. The Silent Hill film, is a really good game to film adaption, least for me it was, as usually game to film it’s just cheap nasty trash- but the silent hill film hit a lot of marks, scary, tension, good acting and a solid storyline. I hadn’t played the games to be fair, so I couldn’t compare, but I know as a movie lover, it’s right up there as a good one. Pyramid Head is a solid release as a figure, looks like he comes with a ton of accessories, worth the purchase.

I just got this figure in today and he's near perfect. SH is my favorite game franchise and I've always wanted some good figures from it. I actually got this figure pretty cheap too, a seller on amazon was selling it for $64, I thought it was gonna be a "too good to be true" scam but it was legit.

Great review (as always 😉) ! Very impressive figure but i agree with you about "clean" clothes... Maybe some blood is missing on "skin" too ? I like the "nightmares" of Freddy and Pennywise at the end of your video !

The headsculpt on the Figma is more accurate (main difference being one side of the helmet is supposed to be bulging through) and there's new added details like the straps on his boots that's not on the game model, so there's a bit of "Mezcofication" going on here. Still, overall this looks great especially for the price, and with the Mannequin it's basically a 2-pack. Also yeah, the second is an original design heavily inspired from the movie version. If you ever wanna check out the series, the first three games are genuinely great. Highly recommended if you're into survival horror games.

Wow, while I love Silent Hill, I was generally opposed to getting this figure. I thought it looked cool, but I assumed it'd be more limited than most Mezcos. But yeah, clearly I was wrong and I am glad I was. Definitely gonna get this at some point, this looks fantastic. Great review, as always. Edit: Got it for a HUGE discount on Amazon, and it is probably my favorite Mezco I have now. Thanks again for this review.

The great spear is from later in the game when you have to fight 2 of these guys (yes, TWO), they have spears instead of the great knife, which can be found discarded in a certain environment. I have the Figma somewhere, I'll take some comparison pics.

The manequin is a totally independent monster, not just an item fir the background but yhea....his oitfit is soo brigth white and his skin soo dark grey, the looks really clashes a lot while on the game skin and outfit have the same soft grey dirty tone

Prototype looked a lot better, not sure why they changed the arms to be muscular rather than just normal? And the hands don’t look right now either

Compared to the figma Figma: Way cooler outfit (its more grey than white like its supposed to be but no one can deny how amazingly gruesome it looks with the dirty, skin like tecture that even has open wounds on it. IIIRC it is more based on a statue than the game model) overall better upper body posability (better ab crunch, butterfly, and head motion but doesn't have as good as a elbow bend) Spear tip removable and additional neck joint. Mezco: Technically more accurate outfit color (white is closer to the game despite it being way too clean) Far better lower body articulation (PH isnt known for his agility so its excusable that the figma suffers there to focus on his more on his outfit's look but more posibility is always welcome no matter the character) Every accessory you can possibly want for PH and then some: Mezco straight up spoiling us with the blood effects which can work for any figure line AND the bugs/mannikin Overall I think the figma looks better on a shelf but this has a much better bang for a buck value and, despite the size difference, you can get away with having both considering he is almost *SPOILER* an army builder.
