Can I just say. You are a certified genius. In My book. The way You just come to find ways to make cool gadgets. Out of every day things that You can mostly find around the house. But the really great part is there really useful gadgets and they really work. Not to mention how EDC friendly these gadgets are.

Great idea! I want something like this. But the only thing I can buy at our shops is Stanley pen from your video. About your screwdriver. I think it will be more great if the yellow cap can be moved to the other side to enlarge the useful length of the tool. 3d printing of something like that is another great idea!

Well done. I have a Stanley and a no-name pocket pen type screw driver much like the Stanley, as well as a Craftsman product. They all have the different size Phillips and straight bit drivers. Which represents a problem here in Canada because the most popular and widespread screw head here is Robertson. And recently there is more demand for the use of Torx Bits of which there are many sizes. I carry a metal tin kit, much like an Altoids tin. I bought a box of these and larger tins off of Amazon. In there I carry a deep socket grouping (1/4 inch drive size) and a full complement of screw driver bits, including all the popular Torx Bits. I have a mini ratchet wrench, along with an extension bit for using the screw bits and sockets. It all fits in the tin. Yes it's unfortunately bigger and heavier. But this is what I have evolved up to using, after starting out years ago just carrying one of the pen type drivers. The situations I came up against demanded a bigger kit. I have a small nylon case that fits on my belt that carries my kit.

You can jb weld a small magnet on the inside for extra hold on the bits -mystic insight

Hey man, I love your videos. I actually modified your parafob to make a belt-attachable keychain tool. It's more flexible than those metal carabiners while being more durable than the retractable keychains sold where I am, as well as being cheaper and more discrete than both. I retie it every so often to keep myself from going out of practice but it's been a mainstay in my EDC for some 5 months now. You're a legend, I can't wait to see what other ideas you have that I can steal ;)

Would you ever make a video covering your bail out bag as shown in your video titled “Spy/Survival Kit Solid-State Backup Drive?”

I plan to, some day, but it is constantly evolving and there are other videos I'll be posting sooner. Thanks for your interest though!

Also, at one point you mentioned fitting a skeletool into an Altoids. I'm assuming it's going to involve cutting off the carabineer portion?
@MeZillch
@MeZillch 5 жыл бұрын
@@enriquediaz7547 Correct. If I ever get around to it you will see it in my upcoming "Tactical Tool Tin " vid. I never use the carabiner anyways so there was no loss for my use.

those super tiny bits are the ones I edc. I never found a driver for them small enough for my preference. What I use is one of these credit card tools. If you file the smallest wrench down just enough it will fit a bit with enough friction to hold in place. I keep my bits in a very small tin, (half the depth of an altoids) and so I can't fit any other type of bit driver. It's pretty janky but it works. www.amazon.com/SE-MT908-1-11-Function-Stainless-Survival/dp/B00C1LZQFA/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=credit+card+tool&qid=1563233657&s=gateway&sr=8-3

you could cut the end cap to size maybe.
@MeZillch

The end cap has a ridge/lip thing which can't be cut off if you want to maintain the tight SNAP feature. Good idea though.

I'm sure you noticed this, but did not cover it. The triangular hole at the end of the yellow cap seems to be just like the triangular hole you talked about using for extra torque. Is this the case?

I just looked at it to double check. Yes, it looks similar but in truth it is slightly larger and it can not hold the bits. They slip out. It can function as an attachment hole though. Thanks for your comment.

So did you sand/cut the opening end too? It wasn't clear. (Ie the 4mm side)
@MeZillch
@MeZillch 5 жыл бұрын
Yes, both sides were sawed down or at least sanded down. I only did a little on the business end because I wanted to preserve the ridge which provides the click/snap function of the yellow plastic caps.
