I went to a concert at Exeter Uni about 1990 with Dembo Konte and we had only about 40 people there and it was just a small room so they played unplugged and proved to be one of the best concerts Ever. Small can mean beautiful.

Well, the instruments, the tunes and the harmony is all Persian music, and yet the group philosophise the origin of this music rather simply saying this is their version of Persian music. I am happy you are interested in this music heritage, but it would be just the right thing to acknowledge the root of this music, i.e. Persia or Iran today.
