What do you expect a typical person would take to do this time wise?
@CanadianRedneck153 жыл бұрын
Depending on how handy and comfortable you are with the work, from 3-6 hours I would say. There is quite a bit of stuff to come of so you can actually get to the head. Thanks for watching!

Hey dave, i have a mf 135 and some times when i am driving the right tire kinda locks up but not all the way. It has internal breaks i think because i cant see a drum. Are those hard to work on, it has not caused any operating problems but worried a bit with winter coming on. Some times it will go a long time with out doing it. What would you do dave.
@CanadianRedneck155 жыл бұрын
That does sound like a possible brake issue, as far as I know all of the 135s had drum brakes, but I've been wrong before. :) If it does have the internal disk brakes it's not a difficult job but there is some heavy lifting, you have to pull the rear axle and housing off of the differential case. I have a video on that style brakes here kzbin.info/www/bejne/h361YXesoaxsm8k Thanks for watching!

I was messing around with it yesterday and as long i keeep the dif. Lock all the way down it is fine but i cant get it to back to one tire spin, i think it is sticky and stuck in lock position and when i pull up on the foot lever maybe just partiely unlocking. Do you think this is a possability to you

@@randomlyfunny2657 I think you are going to have to take it apart to see what is going on in there.

My chief complaint here is that you went too fast through this and didn't really explain much about what to expect and what to look for. It's great for someone that has done this before but I'm not that guy. I really don't want to have to call a mechanic for this one.

I will keep that in mind for the future. Thanks for watching!

I got a 444international diesel do you have a video about the head gasket for that
@CanadianRedneck155 жыл бұрын
I don't have a video for the head gasket specifically but I do have a series on rebuilding a BD154 . The process would be quite similar as this one, just the specs would be different. Thanks for watching!

I have fracture cracks between cylinders 2,3 and 3,4 on block on top ,when i went to do head gasket, is the block garbage?
@CanadianRedneck15 Жыл бұрын
That is not uncommon. Best bet is to look for another block though it may be hard to locate one, next best option is to see if you can get it welded. Cast is difficult to weld so search out a reputable welder. Thanks for watching!

I use a 3M cleaning disk on a die grinder, it's like a plastic brillo pad type thing. Thanks for watching!

Don't get too aggressive with that die grinder flap wheel I've seen it cause low spots flat body board works pretty good
