Group dancing is about the flow, the choreography, the rythm. To be able to perform in a group it isn't always about syncronising your moves. It is about how you use your body, how to incorperate the music into your routine. Then being able to pass it on uniquely and letting each performer put a bit of their personality into the mix. Furocity was amazing, however, I feel like there could have been alot more dance moves apart from the hand movements. I'm not asking for a backflip, but I feel like the tail, feet, etc could have had a greater purpose. Of course thats just my opinion.

Oh, Recca. Furocity is an great group, but I do have to agree with him in one part. I think if they're a group, they should work together to make something that they will all do in sync, but other than that, it was amazing and very upbeat.

Honestly from an entertainment standpoint and for wow factor I think this is great. Yeah they could have done better doing it as one, but be real for a second. They did it that way for a reason. It honestly changed thing up for once from the boring and typical group routines that you usually see. This was more than just a dance performance. They were making it more than just a "performance".

I get what they meant though. I loved this dance, but it did feel kinda disconnected before Hogwash came in- I've just noticed that the more sync you have, the more the individual moments will stand out and be more special. When Hogwash came in it was great, amazing entrance, and everything became more in sync, and the moment where they did their own thing was more special.

It is pretty pathetic seeing all this hate towards the judge. They were right. If you were going to do a group dance you have to work together, instead of taking turns, pointing back and forth. And don't use the "You don't understand" card. It's a competition. You have to work for a spot, even if It's hard. Everything doesn't just come to you on a Silver platter, @Dipper Pines, @comanche, and @Retro Treeyo, to name a few of the commenters.

Honestly this just sucked. Most of the "dancing" was just ridiculous arm flailing and no real consistent moves at all. There was little to no footwork (walking doesn't count) and the judge was right. If you have a /group/ dance, then choreograph a /group/ dance. This was just taking turns moving their arms and the one wow factor when Hogwash came out.

+Neko Husky I gave an actual critique, however I don't care if they're usually singles. If they're such looked up to dancers they should be able to choreograph something. They call themselves veterans, but this was barely mediocre.

+Neko Husky They did a half-assed job and that's the problem. They choreographed maybe 10% of their dance. That's half-assing it. Be it their first time as a group, it's not their first dance competition. All three even won first place in some dances. They have no excuse for their lack of syncing and composition.

My thoughts personally, is that the overall performance from a choreography standpoint left alot to be desired, from a entertainment standpoint they had the crowd going and enjoying it and did a decent first try. Recca was very harsh in his delivery. "i really really loved the end part when all of you were actually a group ad danced together" A more measured delivery would have been more respectful to the performers and more suited to the type of event this is. Its not like he cant speak to them privately after the show. Saying "thank you for your performance, i think you could use some improvement in overall choreography, lets talk after the show" would have gone down alot better.
