I know I'm super late to the party here, but this is a gorgeous edit and it captures the two of them perfectly! I was so worried that the writers were gonna fuck these two up in the fifth season by implying that Johnny had romantic feelings towards Dutch, but thankfully they didn't. Platonic soulmates for the win!

Sadly, no. The show never made them an official couple, but instead reinforced the idea that they were platonic soulmates. She ended up in a romantic relationship with someone else whereas he was still looking for love.

@@mfirefly10 it’s funny but I can’t imagine Dutch and Dav staying together for too long. It feels like their relationship is not that strong. It’s more about physical attraction. But her and Johnny have care, love and understanding. Real soulmates.

@@amarawinchester963 I think the writers wanted us to believe Dutch&D'Av were in love, but I didn't. I believed they loved each other but more as friends/partners than anything romantic. I think the show should've kept them as friends and redirected Dutch to Johnny.
