Yes i use the manbily now for 4months with the ball head. I like it alot for the price compared to the other tri pods on the market.. specially in Australia

Very hard to find foxes in thick cover. I now have a green laser I attach to scope with a figure 8 clamp...cheap and makes life sooo much easier....

Yes that is a good way of finding them, the NV400 scope I have been reviewing has a red laser built into the side of the range finder and can be used in the same way. Unfortunately the thermal I was using doesn't have one or I would have done that. Great that you pointed that out though, it may help others. Hope you enjoyed the video 👍🏻

No dog with me, the fox came in direct line down wind of me, which is why he got my scent. He was about 160 yards from me when he stopped and I shot him. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻

I am guessing it was a poor night for thermal or the upload video quality has spoilt the thermal image because that doesn’t look the best ! Have you tried the 75gn Superformance, if so how did you find them ? 👍🏻

You have a few factors with thermal, one is the fox was viewed at distance and was shot at around 160 metres, as you up the mag you lose quality on any thermal scope picture, mixed with bad weather conditions humidity/Dew point etc and combined with the fact that you are expanding the picture to fit on a TV or other viewing device all come into play. The picture on a RH50, which is one of the top end scopes is excellent in the right thermal conditions. I have not used the 75gr SST, all my scopes are zeroed for 95gr SST and they work perfectly for everything I shoot. thanks for commenting 👍
