this shit goes to this day, I love vodkas unorthodox style one of the few people outta Philly that has an original style and because of that he always stood out to me.its a shame most of the Philly rappers had a lack of work ethic because otherwise, the impact would have been serious. the talent was always here but most never took the time to polish their music its a shame.

Not everyone that has the most Impact will not be "mainstream". Any Hip Hop or Audiophile would appreciate this. And I think there is a quality to underground and obscure music. As an example, everyone loves hip hop but few find artists like MF DOOM, Aesop Rock Earl Sweat just of my own personal discovery. Most of the upper echelon, prolific influences on culture (From Philosophy to Music) tend to go unrecognized for Years and Even Centuries before their bodies of work exemplify the beyond common And unique skill/perspective they offer. I do wish he was able to impact on a wide scale too. But don't think it is the measure of greatness that defines the merit.
