Quick tip, there's a very powerful t2 item called Reactive Armor that gives you a 400 bullet and 200 spirit shield when you are CCed, great when laning against a Haze who keeps sleep darting you, or a Beebop hook, or an Abrahms charge, Dynamo knockup, etc. Basically if you are laning against someone with CC, you should absolutely get Reactive Armor. Edit: it's called Reactive Barrier, not Armor.

Do you know what the interaction is with unstoppable? Is it only when tbe condition successfully applies to you, or when any ability with a condition hits you?

@@uberspider1384 I don't know for certain, but I would assume you do not get the shields if you are unstoppable and don't get crowd controlled. Could be wrong, definitely am interesting interaction.

Some quality of life things to make it a bit more enjoyable for you: * The lightning circle underneath the character portraits indicates ult availability * Zipline booster is a buff, so you can rush back to base, heal up and buy, then rush back to lane with it * Buy Monster Rounds; it's 500 and it reduces the NPC damage you take whilst increasing how much you deal to them Nice to see you are having fun Pally!

One minor tip I’ve seen is that if you plan on speed boosting back to lane, you can usually speed boost going towards the base and still have it active after you buy

Seeing the Infernus go back to base at 38:23 and Vindicta, one of the best heroes for executes during team fights, faffing around in yellow lane was frustrating. If the lanes weren't pushed up I would understand but if there was ever a time to push, it was with most of their team dead.

It's so strange, the fact that bebop bomb upgrade disarms the target makes his waveclear noticeably worse because the minions you stick the bomb on just proceed to walk past everyone because they loose the ability to target anyone so they also don't stand still to attack anymore and more often than not walk out of range of their fellow minions, it happens a lot throughout this game.

Did you know that when you slide you have infinite ammo, and you can get this infinte ammo even if you already started reloading? You might also want to know you can slide down the stairs in front of the first guardian of each lane, this can allow you to clear the enemy guardian slightly faster as it can mitigate the need to reload, it does take some getting used to but all advantages help. You can also slide immediately out of a dash which can help you maintain fire for just a bit longer to secure a kill that you may have otherwise lost because you had to reload.

Double bomb on the small camps is such a funny overkill when you have 5 T3/4 Spirit items, you killed a medium camp with a single bomb late game based on only getting the sound of one bomb explosion. It's also a decent idea to get some Gun upgrades even when you aren't building for gun, some of them directly influence Spirit damage and Spirit Resistance shred, both of which can provide you with some really solid boosts in the later stages of the game

There are some weapon upgrades that helped with spirit builds, a good cheap one is the T2 weapon upgrade soul, shredder bullets, which gives a 10% spirit amp debuff and 20% spirit life steal on things you shoot, really synergizes, and ups that damage. Also, instead of running up to double bomb towers or enemies sometimes you can just double bomb yourself and run in, it’s surprisingly effective

I just realized something... Pally always run into things because he assumes his body is in the center of the screen, but his body is actually off to the side (because it is over the shoulder view). Pally, I started watching you in 2014 with HOTS. I remember watching your video after HOTS was sunset and was heartbroken for you. But, here I am, playing Deadlock and I feel like I’m transported a decade back. You sound happy, you’re gameplay is good, and its an enjoyable watch. Loving the Deadlock content! Keep it up! You mentioned your gun not being able to knock Haze off the line because the range was too short, I think it was because once you're on the line for 3-5 seconds you become invulnerable to being knocked off- indicated by a blue aura. Also, you can tell when the enemy has their ult all the time by looking to see if the white circle under their portrait if full or not. Lastly, you keep calling Mirage, "Echo" is that a reference to something?

Hey Pally. If you use your speed boost on the return trip to the base, it will last long enough for you sit in base, heal, and get back to the lane before it expires.

hey pally, just fyi, speed boost is a timed buff, it doesn't go on cooldown when you jump off the line, so when healing, boost both back to base and lane.

Always break the little gold statues and crates. Statues can contain permanent stat bonuses and crates can contain souls. It is ALWAYS worth your time to break them.

You did that camp right next to the spirit buff and then walked away from it to go back to lane. I ping both buffs all game long and nobody on the team takes them. Frustrating because they even show up on the mini map

If you open shop and go 'Browse Builds' you can find plenty of builds that people have made. They are not guaranteed to be good, but it will give you some direction. Pick one that doesn't have a heap of items and builds into the playstyle you think will be fun. Will help streamline the shop so you can focus on learning the other stuff
