@worldofgnr It's just the zoom H1 mounted on the camera,but I have to mention that the sound-system at 'Podium Vorstin' where I recorded this, is 'State of the art'.

@ExitProducts I use a photo camera (Canon Rebel T2i / 550d) so I have to zoom manually and focus before I start recording. In this way camera operation sounds aren't a problem for me. Listening to my zoom recordings I actually can't remember hearing anything that looks like operation sounds not even the mirror sound. Of course don't forget I'm talking about rock concerts !!!.

@Kaza52 I haven't tried this out yet, but I will do it in the future The only problem I can see is that the zoom can record in a higher quality .This can be meaning full for the sound quality when you later edit the sound. For instance when you record at a low input level( not taking any risk of clipping)The sound quality will stay better after normalizing it.I always try to see the sound as a picture , more pixels(96 Khz / 24bits in sound) means you can zoom further before it gets unsharp

I mounted the zoom on the hot shoe of my camera.(you need an adapter, you can find it on amazon. just Google for "Marshall-V-LCD-MT")

@TheBoysFromTheBlue Used the H1 to recorded the sound ( completely independent of the camera ) . In a video editing program I synced the original camera sound with the Zoom H1 sound. Then I deleted the camera sound . So now you only hear the Zoom H1 sound.

good sound I used H2 (nev version) adnd H4 but this is great sound man I dont see big differences

@Lyricalmovement2010 I doubt the camera uses any shutterspeed during a movieshot... perhaps you meant the fps?

great audio quality! Do you know if it's possible to mount the Zoom H1 microphone on a Nikon D5000 camera? By the way, what song (and/or) artist is this? It sounds very familiar!

how do u connect them both. Do you use a 3,5mm audio cable and just press rec on the camera or both?

quick question- did you use the recording function on the mic and then put the movie and sound in sinc? or did you put the zoom mic into the camera's mic input, and recorded the sound from the zoom through the camera?

Another question: the Zoom H1 is just on or the device is recording the audio too? Can you ajust settings of the audio during recording?
