To be fair, I think the reason the gouf custom comes with an all grey heat sword is cause that's how it looks in the OVA. I have no idea why it's just a solid grey, but it do

The MG GM Custom does have a pilot figure similar to this... also MG GM Custom and MG Quel which is very similar are good kits.

I finished the mg god Gundam a few months ago and it had a big domon kasshu figure as well.

The Gouf has a heat sword but this Gouf Custom sword doesn't light up but it's still called a heat sword. Some people have called it a beat sword, for this reason. That's why the sword in this kit is a solid color. It's said that this sword can light up but this Ace pilot is so good, that he would rather play around with his prey and strike terror in his enemy, while beating them down slowly, or part by part. I was wondering the same thing cause every kit has a black sword, video games have a black sword but the regular Gouf has a glowing sword, and I rewatched the Anime and the sword stays black. That's why I looked this up and this is what I found.

When I built my Zeta plus a few months ago the braided fabric and screws complety threw me off. But the screws add a huge degree of longevity to the joints,that I love. Great job with the nubs had a hard time trying to spot them.

I think a lot of people have a negative perception of screws in gunpla.. but they can actually be a really great addition to the kit! This was my first kit with screws and they definitely haven’t been the source of any problems for me

The lack of rotation at the waist really kills it for me. The hoses at the torso should have been made a little longer to allow rotation. I mainly got this kit because the gatling gun looks so cool.

agreed but it is a pretty old kit so we cant really expect /too/ much from it, another big bummer is even though that gatling gun looks so cool the arm just cant hold the damn thing up :( i'm sure most gunpla fans would agree with me when i say this kit needs a 2.0!

@@YouSeeGundam I'm building it right now and I just noticed none of the images on the box has the figure holding up the gatling gun. Bandai knew what was up😂 I'm planning on getting the Gundam Geara Doga next. That one should definitely be more fun to build than this one.

If you are in the United States, I wouldn't go through Amazon. None of the kits are apart of Prime so you will still have to pay for shipping. Go to either USAGundamstore.com or Newtypehq.com or any other of these hobby types. Usually you can find better deals on those sites too.

nice vid man! they told me about the kits shortcomings, but im still buying this kit, cause if you watch how norris packard piloted his gouf custom is so badass, hahaha! for me that's enough reason to have this kit in your collection! keep safe man and keep those vids coming! 👍👍👍

Thank you! And yeah there are a few flaws with the kit but it is an almost 20 year old kit so we gotta take what we can get until we hopefully someday get a gouf custom 2.0 😄 and I agree, the ez8 vs gouf custom was a badass fight- the first mobile suit fight I ever saw actually! The HG 1/100 scaled line usually has a 1/20 scale figure (just like Norris Packard) It does mention the scale if you look on the runner that contains the Norris Packard (I have a 1/20 scale Trowa Barton)

Got mine today, sadly mine had a misprinted leg part, and I couldn't really rectify the misprint. Gouf Custom is my favorite kit.

Hey if they do make a 2.0 gouf custom they can use the frame work for the 2.0 zaku though if you ask me it does need a bit more polish in terms of plastic quality. Lets hope if they do it doesn't become a pbandai.
