Mgła is not a typical Black Metal band singing about the devil's dominance. Their lyrics are on social changes, people's doubts and nihilism of the world nowadays. BLESSED BE GUITARISTS, THEIR WOOD AND STRINGS. BLESSED BE DRUMMERS, THEIR MEMBRANES AND STICKS. BLESSED BE VOCALISTS, FOR THEY ARE DRIVEN BY NONE. BLESSED BE BASS PLAYERS, LET THEM NEVER BE GONE! 🤪

what I like on these guys that they are staying still with the legs on the floor, not flying high in the sky = still concerts in small clubs, not even the problem to communicate with them on their personal FB accounts. That's what people like. They take themselves still as people, making music for people. Equality.

And murdering a gay person, going to prison and then killing yourself isn't high on the list of "achievements" to become a metal legend. Enslaved... they did one good record. Vikingligr Veldi. After that it went steadily downhill. These days they produce pop music that sounds like heavy metal. They are to Viking/Black Metal what Hair Metal was to Heavy Metal in the 70's.
