Correction: level 2 means longitudinal(acc & brake) and lateral(steering) control. Since ACC and LKA are present in XUV700 it is technically level 2 ADAS qualified. They are just not marketing the term. Ps the vehicle even slows down during turns.

Bahut hi badhiya aur informative video👏. Isse logon ko ADAS level ka importance pata chalega especially in night and foggy situation. ADAS Radar Foggy situation me jahan par visibility issue rehta hai wahan pe wo car samne dekh ke MID me notify bhi kardeta hai. ADAS in general night me bhi bahut kaam aayega since driver can feel a lot sleepy. Agar tab ye on hoga to if accidentally driver so bhi jaye to koi haadsa nahi hoga. Hamne hamari Astor me jyadatar emergency braking system use kiye hai jo bahut useful hai. Intelligent speed system bhi. Prakash ji kya aapko malum hai ki ham log radio ka automatic on hona kaise off kar saktein hai? Jaise hi gaadi start hoti hai aur bot bolti hai to uske baad radio on ho jaata hai to sometimes ye annoying lagta hai.

appreciate your efforts, i am interested to buy Astor for its VFM , but is ADAS really useful in our country and in our highway road markings.. ? I feel i might check whether its working properly or not but i may not depend on it. After some months i might even stop checking whether it works or not . I see some people complain that ADAS is interfering too much of our drive when it remains activated in background . I hope 80% people drive 80% in city and 20% in highways. In city with our traffic conditions adaptive cruise control doesnt help much as well.

I do have an answer to your question- There are two features in ADAS. The first thing is adaptive cruise control which will only be used on highways when you can also use it in the city because there is a feature but I don't generally recommend to use it in the City. ( I won't) The other thing that you are talking about is - lane keep assist feature! ( Well that feature is only good if you are driving your car on expressways. I don't think it is practical to keep it on in everyday usage. Forward collision prevention can be turned on with sensitivity at low. If the sensitivity is high then in the city it will create trouble for you. If you see my whole video you will realise that I have used the features in a practical sense and not tried to show an impractical driving environment. I hope I was able to answer you. Wow great video and very informative was considering top model without adas but afterall this sseeems too useful One more thing while lane departure warning is on and u try to change lanes it warms u with that noise so u can just give indicator while changing lanes so that it wouldnt warn u when u intend to chnge lanes

Yes only Hyundai has reverse sensors! Even XUV doesn't have that! XUV and Astor are cars in different segment! One is a mid size suv and other is full grown suv!! Both ADAS are from Bosch and have similar working! They work well in both the cars!!

@@IndianCitizen07 agar aapki car 85kmph par bhi cruise kar rahi to aur saamne 30 par chalne wali car bhi aa jaaye tab bhi adaptive cruise control kaam karta rahega. ACC k saath saath emergency breaking bhi hai! Agar car ko lagata hai ki aap saamne object hone par bhi brake nahi laga rahe then car khud break laga degi aur aapko 0 ki speed par pahucha degi!
