There are so many issues with the figures in this review. The petrol engine is NOT 254hp and the battery does not weigh 1800kg.
@dannynitro782 жыл бұрын
6:41@ It's 254hp combined surely?!? I doubt a 1.5 turbo is putting out that power BEFORE the electric assist.

@@omicSheep Hi, I think it’s the seating position plus the windscreen isn’t angled out. The housing for the cameras and the electrics on top of the windscreen was restricting my vision dramatically when head turns slightly left. Also it kinda felt tinny inside and basically very inferior compared to say Honda, Toyota, Subaru, Nissan etc etc etc. But if you like the vehicle after test driving it and it appeals to you, that is the main thing. Cheers NZ.

Perhaps it would be better to compare this to the Peugeot 3008 because the 5008 has 7 seats where as the mg doesn’t

Great car till you have a problem and you are unable to get it repaired for 3 weeks it’s a 12 volt battery problem?.

A few inaccuracies….the length of the car was different to the length on screen. The weight of the battery is obviously wrong.

The 'RAPID CHARGER' under the boot floor looks remarkably like a 13 amp mains 'Granny cable' to me. If so, Well done MG, most other manufacturers don't supply them anymore! The battery weighs 1.77 (British) TONS????? REALLY???? quote How much does a 100 KWh battery weight? 100kWh battery weighs 1,377 pounds. A16.6KWh battery therefore weighs 228.5lbs = 103kg

I own and drive the MG HS P.H.E.V. I do think you should do a little more research before making some of the comments on many things you comment on. No this car is not the best thing since sliced bread but please do not make false comments.

hi im new to hybrid, but i just want to know if you actually need to charge up the car, or if my daily commute would do this? I dont have a charging plug at home or at work so I dont know if this is any good for me.
@rivervalegroup Жыл бұрын
Hi there 👋 For a plug-in hybrid yes you would need to charge the car at home. You can, however, use public charging points and fill up with petrol as usual.
@bgjuk-c8u Жыл бұрын
No you don’t need to charge. I have a Kuga PHEV and never plug in ever and average 48mpg
@davidspencer72546 ай бұрын
You don't have to plug in to charge it up. You can set it so that it reaches a full charge at a destination for example. However to get the best out of a PHEV plug it in.

Sorry to all people but thats a Chinese brand and Chinese car . Nobody can compare it with Peugeot or kia or whatever else cause all those companies they having so much years of development and experience. We can talk about it after 50 years if they will be still alive as company and with reliability.for now i really feel sorry for all thinking or buying it cause its a big risk and not a big deal
