Beautiful car! My wife is anxiously awaiting delivery of a red '79 1500. Professional restoration. I should hopefully be here by Christmas '23.

That brought back fond memories of my first car. It was a '64 Midget, that I got in '78. I enjoyed driving it for eight years. I live in Canada so I put it away from November till May. Loved that car.

I always wanted a car like that. Well, maybe with the steering on the other side...

Excellent car. I would suggest putting the camera in a location where the viewer could see the road ahead; also a walk-around showing the car and under the bonnet/hood.

I’ll try that, thanks

Very nostalgic, having owned several Spridgets. First car in 1977 was a 61 Mk1, then I think six more. If you don’t mind me saying, I think Blue might need attention to the diff soon.

Hi, thanks - I have nil mechanical knowledge. Which noise makes you concerned about the diff? :-)

@@Lutelover I think it is the low roaring and clungy noices im hearing that let me to think there is something wrong with the diff. Might be something with a little play or something loose. Rear axle isnt to hard to work on!

I have a1993 Nissan 300zx convertible. I always thought it had a fair amount of cowl shake. Now I know how bad cowl shake can really be.

LOL - there's no scuttle shake - its the camera vibrating on the window!

How super. I was offered a black 1980 rubber bumper model with 25,000 miles on the clock, but it seemed a bit expensive at £11K. Perhaps not.

I suppose given the low mileage that was probably a fair price. I paid a lot for mine, but it had a total and complete restoration 20 years ago, has done 50,000 miles since, and looks pretty amazing still. I’m still getting to know it, but enjoying it very much and it sits in my garage just outside my kitchen so I can use it at a moments notice for whizzing round the lanes in the Wolds

@@Lutelover It was most likely one of the last 500 ever built. They were all done in black to celebrate the 50 years of production...
