MG the OG remembered more for his altercation with Wally Lewis but those who know remember an amazing talent. Ahead of his time, he had it all. Footwork, offload, passing, tough as they come and fit as a fiddle. He was an absolute weapon in attack and defence, just a shame injury got the better of him and we really missed out on seeing him play more football. Has overcome so much adversity and a true gentleman, honest, raw and generous as they come. Love ya MG, keep kicking goals mate

No matter what, every time i see or hear MG i automatically think of him telling the watching world on live telly on The Sunday Footy Show how he woke up pissing on his laptop in the corner of his room. That has to be one of the great moments in the history of television. When anyone can make Gus laugh like that then u know it was an hilarious & classic moment of telly
