I’ve had company vehicles such as BMW 320d, Audi A4 and more recently a BMW 330e. The best of the bunch was the 320d. I recently bought the new MG3 and I can honestly say it’s an excellent car. It’s comfortable, it drives really well, it’s economical, it has a lot of features, it’s great around town, it’s great on the motorway, it handles well and it’s fast when you need it. Also it’s cheap to buy as cars go. I have no issue with this car, it’s a brilliant car and I love driving it. Don’t mind the badge, ignore the snobbery and drive the decent, fast car that no one has picked up on yet.

@@TotallyEV Premium and costly German or other cars are on borrowed time. There are plenty of manufacturers who will/are producing cars that are as good or better for less money. Unless you don’t mind being easily parted with your money or care about what the neighbours think or the school run why would you spend it?

I have subscribed to your channel. I've had the New MG3 Hybrid in Battersea Blue Trophy since 4th May. I am still enjoying am used to the quirks now. Currently, on 1720 miles

Great review! Can't wait for the audio system review! As soon as yesterday found out the equaliser menu and the presets options... Truth is that if you don't have time it's very difficult to read the online manual. Keep up the good and honest work!!

I can't see why you're reviewing a mild hybrid on a channel called totally EV. My current car is a 1.2 Skoda and I can get 55mpg on a long drive with that. I don't know why anyone would choose this over a nicer second hand EV or even the new citroen ec3.

I've covered hybrids from the beginning, as EVs encompass hybrids too. The reason? Because not everyone can afford or even suitably own a BEV as their only vehicle.

@@TotallyEV I disagree that hybrids are EVs. Plug in hybrids yes, but this is 100 percent petrol powered my man. But fair enough if you want to continue covering hybrids at the end of the day it's your choice and I wish you well. I am 6ft tall and like to sit high in the drivers seat. When I set the seat to high my head hits the roof.

The only AWD car I’m aware of in this segment would be the Suzuki Swift. Suspect that’s very cheap inside as all Suzukis are but well made and it’ll be infinitely more reliable than this MG.

I agree, China support Putin, that's inacceptable. But we were flooded with chinese made products. Where does your Smartphone came from? Your Notebook, Tablet, TV, fridge, freezer, washer, dryer. How about your jeans and other clothes? Often we buy chinese made products and brands, but we don't know they were from China
