Parang kaparehas neto yung topic about marketed phone features na "gimik" lang. Ang dapat kasing maintindihan ng consumers, is that just with any product, the brands will put anything on paper to make their products more sellable to their potential buyers (IP rating, charging wattage, camera MP, years of OS updates, etc.). Marketing strategy lang lahat yan. And majority of buyers are still not "in the know" and will just easily gravitate to what looks good on paper. Pero hopefully unti-unti nang kumakalat ang awareness through these videos.

IP68 rating is not actually gimik. IP68 rating - dust and water resistant. "WATER RESISTANT" water resistant is different from the word waterproof. yung sinasabi ng mga phone company na pwedeng ilubog up to 6meter or 11meter is Gimik lang para madaming bimili.

Mga boss, baka gagana lang din yang Max Wattage Charging kung mag-charge po ng phone na totally naka-off... kaso malalaman mo lang yung bilis ng watt charging kung gagamit ka ng cable o adaptor na may wattage charging indicator... kasi diba nire-regulate po ng phone yung charging speed kung naka-on yung phone?... hindi lang po ako sigurado dahil hindi ko pa na test sa cp ko na 30W kasi pinaayos ko pa ulit ngayon. This is true, my poco x6 only charges to 67watts if screen is off. If screen is on then it charges lower. But it still charges to full in 30-40 minutes from 20-30 to 100 if screen off.

May mga factors din po sa both side the smartphone and the charger. Sa smartphone. Temperature. Cable type. And state of charge may times na mas lower ang state of charge mas mabilis. And pag around 80% nag trickle charge nalang. Sa side ng charger. Mostly temp lang naman.

Agree, kaya no big deal sakin yung software updates is that mas resource intensive bawat upgrade ng android version. As long na may mga devs. na sinusuportahan yung android version mo, gagana't gagana mga apps mo. About security patches, usually the best security is common sense. If you make an effort to know at least the basic knowledge sa malwares you're safe naman.

Netpick lang sa security patches. It is HIGHLY IMPORTANT especially with the recent CVEs or exploits found wherr they can fully access your smartphone. Maybe wala kang pake when it comes to this but the fact that they have complete access sa personal phone mo is a no-no since its an open gate for more exploitable methods such as keylogs where you don't even noticed it. Problem nalang talaga sa smartphone companies yang security patches pero may kasamang pagpilay sa mobile device mo.

about sa battery & charger. may naalala akong brand na sinabi nila na dalawa yung battering naka installed sa CP nila. sa loob ng isang battery dalawang battery talaga. like kung 5000mah yung battery. ang exact number is. 2500mah and 2500mah. kaya siguro half lang yung results sa charging. like 15w pero the battery is receiving 15w & 15w in total 30w kaya ayan yung pinaka ni advertise nila na watts ng charger nila.

About sa charging, ang max wattage talaga makukuha mo lang kung ubos o malapit nang maubos ang battery mo at depende sa charging system may specific na percentage na unti-unting bumabagal ang charging kasi may CC(constant current) at CV(constant voltage) mode sa charger. Kapag ubos o mababa ang percentage ng battery CC mode yan, bibigyan ng maraming current para bumilis at pag malapit nang mapuno, CV na yan so unti unting bumababa ang current pero steady ang voltage para di masira ang battery kasi more current = mas mainit at para na rin di ma overcharge na makakasira ng battery kasi parang sponge yun, kapag tuyo mas madaling ma absorb yun tubig pero pag sobrang basa di na masyadong nag aabsorb kaya pag umabot na don wala ng point mag charge ng mabilis iinit lang yon kasi hindi na makapasok ang sobrong kuryente sa battery. May system din na nagmomonitor sa phone based sa load, temperature, battery percentage, etc. nagbabago ang charging so kung hindi mo ginagamit bibilis yan at kung ginagamit mo babagal yan para di mag overheat ang phone mo.

1. "IP rating". I agree na dapat i treat na lang na splash resistant ang IP68 pero about sa experience mo sa dagat, natural lang yun kasi for some reason mas dalikado ang tubig alat at about naman doon sa swimming pool i think dahil yun sa Chlorine. 2. "Wattage charging". I think may factors na di na try or pinag usapan. Mas okay sana kung tinry na lang charging speed from 0% to 100% kaisa mag rely sa device mo, no hate pero parang ang inaccurate kasi walang 7w/12w charging nowadays. 3. "triple camera". Agree! basura qng 2mp macro camera. 4. "system update". I agree, for some reason naging worse lang experiences ko sa updates.

At first wala din akong pakelam sa ip rating pero ngayon di na ako bibili ng phone na walang ip rating kase nung na napasama ng mama ko yung pixel 6 ko sa washing machine laking tuwa ko na ip68 yung phone ko accidents happen and I would want the extra assurance of ip68 but I agree na dapat covered ng warranty yung water damage if may ip rating yung phone pero dahil pixel naman yung phone ko kaya wala talagang warranty sa Philippines 😂

Software update nadali na ko diyan nung 2017, cherry mobile pa phone ko nun, Flare S4. After ng software update nag bu-bootloop na phone ko pagnakastandby. Kakabootloop niya nag ooverheat at kinakain pa battery ng phone ko. Dagdag pa na kilala ang cherry mobile sa palpak na battery kaya tawag dati e cherry lowbat. Simula nun di na ko bumili ng cherry mobile, kahit gusto ko suportahan local brand natin pero hirap pagkatiwalaan yung quality sa ganung presyo.

This is true. DON'T Update your ANDROID phone! I got my Tecno Camon 20 pro 5g taken to the service center for a repair yesterday. (It's still there) Akala ko kasi okay yung update since it was ONLY a security patch. Then after a while it started randomly restart and shutdown hanggang sa the day before yesterday, totally deadboot na. Akala ko it will be fix after the next update but NO. Hindi sya naayos after ng update. So take this as an addition to what sir Qkotman said. Never update if you didn't do research. Masisira lang yan. Thank you Sir Qkotman for this informative content. Update, I got it pero mas sinira pa phone ko. Nakaka inis sa part na yes naayos na yung phone pero sira yung fingerprint sensor, nahatak yung leather kasi panget yung pakalagay ng glue and lastly yung glass sa camera(Hindi yung lens), nakaopen. Meaning, pwede pasukan ng alikabok. Isa pa, sa mga ITEL, INFINIX, and TECNO users out there, PLEASE ALAGAAN NYO PHONES NYO. Ang panget lang naman kasi ng experience ko sa CARLCARE. I think malayo ang wattage (compared to advertised) na nakukuha or nareread dahil nakaon yung screen ng mga phones. Pakiulit testing lods, pakipatay naman yung screen (hindi shutdown). Safety feature kasi yun para di maginit phone habang ginagamit (usually when screen is on).

Kaya sa power bank ako nag chcharge kasi dun nabibigay nya un max na need ko 18w lagpas pa nga eh ng konti.. sa bricks nasa 16w lang.. pero my napanood ako ytber nag tetest ng mga capacity ng power bank at expert sa solar . . been using ip rated phones since sony xperia times, totoo naman yung ip rating lalo na kung brand new at trusted brand at nilubog ko na rin at times pero mostly hinuhugasan ko lang yung phones ko at making sure dry yung ports after lalo na bago icharge - nasa pag iingat lang talaga sya (need nyo po banlawan ng fresh water after nyo ilubog sa pool para hindi ma corrode yung seals) pero nag dedegrade sya katagalan kaya di 100% sure water resist.

Sa IP68 na topic mejo kailangan lang ng mga user's na maging aware sa ginagawa nila, di naman intended ang IP68 na ibabad ang phone halimbawa sa pool. May limitation ang IP68 at lahat ng high end phone kahit anung brand di tlaga covered pag water damaged ang phone. Lalo na sa saltwater, dapat binabasa nila ang manual kasi andun nakalagay kung saan lang pwede. Kung ako ay mah budget kukunin ko pa rin ang merong IP68 na phone at least intened to sa accidental na ma drop mo sa tubig o mabasa man ay makakasurvive at least based dun sa specs. Pag nahulog sa tubig iahon agad.

Sir.. Ung IP68 po working lng sa tubig na wlang asin or chlorine.. Wag nu po ilulubog sa dagat at swimming pool kc masisira tlga un kc may asin at halong chlorine un, dpat fresh water... HAHAHAHA.. 😂... Hndi nman tlga advisable e lubog sa tubig ng pang matagalan.. I still have my Sony Xperia XZ1 that i bought way back 2018 which is also rated as IP68 dust and water resistant, nilubog q xansa water for 2 minutes, naging ok nman.. Wlang nangyare sa phone and ok parin speakers nya.. Misconception tlga ung pwede mo ilubog up to 30 minutes.. Pero agree aq, dpat minarket na lng nila as splash proof..

Yung digital watts na indication ng bluetti di naman accurate yan. Pag gamit kl original na cable ng xioami at charger nya, sobrang bilis talaga magcharge unlike sa mga sinasabing 100watts na cable na nabibili sa Ugreen. I think may factor talaga yung original cable ng xioami. In may own experience.
