My first and only so far was a miserable fail especially when it came to the neck. So my next attempt will be with one of your kits so I can learn from it. I've considered several others, but I like what I see in your necks over the rest. Thanks for doing what you're doing for all of us.

Hey Mike, Thanks for all your research, and for sharing your background here on MGB guitar. I ran into a guy at a Flea Market selling CBGs and he had maybe 25 or thirty left in the racks. After talking to him for maybe 30 minutes, I knew I was going home to build one. Boy, what a learning experience and education that was, but it left me wanting more . When I built my first CBG about two years ago I watched KZbin for a little over a hundred hours (and still watch now probably going on almost 300 hours) hanging on to every word from a couple of your competitors one in your area, yourself and, Mr. Pucket, and Shane S (now I have a list lol). As I have gotten more involved I have seen, yes there is competition amongst builders to build the best, coolest, best sounding CBG out there but it's not really a rivalry between builders as most builders treat you kinda like family and will help one another if it's something you don't understand. I just wanted to thank you for your well-made, enjoyable videos, and the invitation to your shop. I would love to stop by and see how it is set up and while there shop for parts and tools I may need. Thanks again for being a part of my new hobby and possibly future business???? I am supposed to be retired but I can't just sit still and do nothing.ha ha ha

You’re right, you can’t build just one. I built my first CBG last month and I’m on my 5th one right now, including 2 Ukuleles.
