I loved everything about this show and I hope they make more of these about more characters

I enjoyed Kevin’s score quite a bit for this series. Especially the Dooku Yaddle duel.

Yes! My favorite part of the Dooku score was when he was looking up at the force tree 👏

I do think it was kind of a missed opportunity to not show Ahsoka healing the Inquisitors red crystals. Would’ve been the perfect place

My headcanon is that she hid in multiple places, Inc multiple farming communities, and fought more than one Inquisitor, so the stuff in the novel still occurs.

There are so many characters and stories tales of the Jedi can focus on: anakin, Luke, obi-wan, qui-gon, yoda, mace windu, kanan, satele, bastila….It’s unbelievable how much potential not only this series has but live action series as well.

Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau are essentially saying "Yeah, our shows matter more than the books that Disney has been putting out for *_Star Wars_* as of late." Because in the comics, Yoda's lightsaber was destroyed, but *_The Book of Boba Fett_* retconned that when Luke pulled it out to show Grogu. Hell, when *_The Rise of Skywalker_* came out with Palpatine being alive (like you and Tait discussed on the Outer Regions Podcast back in late December 2019), the *_Aftermath_* books that came out in 2015 were retconned out of Disney's "canon" as a result of TRoS. Again, I think especially with Jon and Dave, they're saying their shows along with the movies matter more than Disney's current books for the saga. I think this would make for a really good topic for the Outer Regions podcast with you, Tait and me in the near future.

Here is my brief thoughts on Tales of the Jedi. I absolutely loved this show! I don’t think that there was one aspect about it that I didn’t like. I think that the writing was brilliant with its limited dialog and visual storytelling. And speaking of the visuals, the animation in this show was as amazing and beautiful as Clone Wars season 7. And the music was incredible, they were able to perfectly capture how to have the music portray the scene. (especially in the Dooku episodes) This show also did an excellent job at making parallels and showing deep themes. For example, in all three of the Ahsoka episodes she must face death, weather it is the harmless animal that her mother killed, in Anakin’s teachings or at Padme’s funeral. And speaking of Padme’s funeral, I not only love the concept of Ahsoka secretly being there but her interaction with Bail Organa afterwards was so emotional. Another parallel that I really like that was used was that in both the final episodes of Dooku’s and Ahsoka’s episodes they experienced nothing but grief after leaving the Jedi Order. And I’ve got to talk about episode 3, this was easily my favorite out of the 6, I think out of all of them this one had the best visual storytelling (like the dark cloud looming over the Jedi Temple as Dooku is making his decision to leave) and the best music out of all the episodes. And all throughout the episode you truly come to realize just how important Qui-Gon was to Dooku and how sad he was over his death which is something we never really got to see before in Star Wars. And that fight at the end with Yaddle, it was perfect, not only was the choreography amazing but I loved how Dooku’s emotions really factored into this, there were moments while Yaddle would speak to him about Qui-Gon where you would feel like he was being drawn back to the light but then you would also notice that throughout the fight Dooku’s fighting would become more violent up until the end where he kills her mercilessly. I just feel like I could go on forever about how amazing this show is and all the things I loved in it. I mean I didn’t even talk about how Anakin pretty much unknowingly trained Ashoka to survive Order 66, or how we see that Rex is the only one that was with Ashoka through all three phases of her Clone Wars journey. Or just how straight up awesome the Inquisitor in the 6th episode was with his design, voice, and presence and how much more menacing he was then pretty much any of the other Inquisitors. I really hope that this show returns with a season 2 so that we can see more of Dave Filoni’s thematic untold stories for certain Jedi.

I liked the series, although I prefer the Dooku shorts over the Ahsoka shorts.

I thought Bryce Dallas Howard was a good choice. I feel like yaddle is middle aged at 400 being yoda died at 900.
